Chapter 1

"That damn girl she did it again," yelled out a shadowy figure. I laughed silently from the air vent. A couple more curses and the figure walked out. Stealing from Rick gets easier every time.

My name is Breeze and if I hear one more comment on 'my twin sister windy, tornado, ect.' I'll flip. I'm sixteen years old and I am what you could call a demigod, but I'm technology not. My father is Aeolus, the KING of winds, not god, yet.

Google search guy who gets butt kicked by girl and a picture of Rick will come up. He sucks, but you shouldn't really underestimate him. He can be bad if your a girl under the age of sixteen.

I love my life without loving it. I make the best of my suckish life. Seriously who would love getting hounded by aims and monsters everyday. My aura as they call it is very powerful and attracts monsters. Basically I smell, really bad. I crawled out of the vents and got onto the roof. It was a breath taking view. I jumped off and felt the wind in my face as I sprinted towards the woods where I have a little camp set up.

"Bree, we have newbies!," yelled Shannon my all time best friend, "Their names are Sammy and Jake. Thirteen years old. Twins of Apollo."

"Wow we sure have been getting a lot of new members recently. Ether the gods have been busy or Camp Half-Blood is falling behind. Speaking of which I'm going up there I need to discuss something with Chiron. Are you cool with watching this group. I'll be stopping by Jay's group on my way." I said quickly then walked away before she could respond.

I don't like making people take care of anyone unless they volunteered, but I need to talk to Chiron urgently. Something has been off with the wind lately. Something wrong.

(Hoped you guys liked the first chapter so far. Disclaimer characters belongs to Rick Riodain except for the ones I made up)

Shannon pov

Right before Breeze came back we had a decently uneventful day. Got new recruits. Trained. Ate. Battled monsters. The usual life of a demigod.

When Breeze asked me to watch the camp I was perfectly fine with it. The way Breeze works is rely on yourself well in her opinion that is herself. She won't let anyone risk their life especially for her.

~Flashback a year ago~

Breeze was staring at the campfire at midnight. I heard her wake up so I came to see if she was alright. Her face was emotionless. Her silver eyes looked gray and desperate.

"I saw him. I saw what happened again," she said her voice slowly rising from a whisper, "Because I guess once wasn't enough. Do know what it's like to relive your past?"

"Breeze just tell me what happened. Stop killing yourself over this. You can't carry every burden alone."

She took a deep breath and said, "When I was little no more than six, I was abandoned alone in the woods. Then he came. His name was Jake, he was only a year or two older than me. I was so weak he took care of me and I completely trusted him. Then one day the monsters came again. The same ones. He was a demigod as well son of Ares. He sacrificed himself to let me escape. I don't even know what happened to him. I cried night and day but I never forgot. Never. I vowed then and there no one will ever need to protect me again"

~end of flashback~

Breeze changed in my mind that day. I had always thought of her as an ally and a friend, but now I think of her as a leader and a role model. Taking this responsibility from her was a big deal.
