Vladimir Chouko had lived a happy and simple life. He had one mother and one father, who were happily married, he also had three siblings. His older brother Axel, who was nineteen, did nothing but take up space on their couch and eat their food. His younger sister Marry was six. She was much like your average six year old, she enjoyed playing dress-up, helping her mother cook, and playing with her two dolls, who she named Sydney and Rosie. His third sibling was fourteen years old, his name was Jonathan. Jonathan wanted to be just like his oldest brother Axel. Everywhere Axel went, he was right behind him. Now, Vladimir was much different than his siblings. Vlad was 5'9 and had short, dirty blonde hair. He was rather thin and hardly ate. His eyes were a deep purple, much like an Amethyst. He was only seventeen and preferred to stay inside and read rather than play football in the yard or help cook. You could almost always find him at his desk drawing, solving sudoku puzzles, or even texting his friends. He was a bit of a shut in, but this didn't seem to bother him at all. He felt comfortable in his small world and no one generally disturbed him.
As for the people Vladimir texted, they were all in his small group of school friends, except for one of them, Yashanie. Yashanie started out as a mysterious person he had met on his Facebook, which he used for roleplay by the name of Raziel. She was only 5'4 and her hair was as dark as night and her eyes were as blue as the ocean. She had a gorgeous smile and the appearance of a goddess. As time went on these two developed a sort of bond. Every day he came home from school, he would log on and they would talk for hours, neither of them knowing hardly anything about the other. They would laugh, doodle, and even sing with each other. During these times, they were both bold enough to share their real names. It turns out that her name was Phylicia Hargrave. After only moments of exchanging their information, they realized they not only lived in the same town, but also the same school. All seemed well for about five or six months, they would meet after school and talk, they always Skyped each other to talk. But all of this changed just before summer break, when his parents found out about the account and the people he had been talking to. They seemed to have overreacted by confiscating his laptop and phone, as well as took his car keys, and turned off the internet completely. But in reality they weren't overreacting, they were just protecting their son from unknown strangers.
The next year of his life was misery without her. He had lost the will to draw and no longer found joy in singing. After school ended, he had no way of clearing up the incident with her, so it seems as if he just dumped her and moved on like she meant nothing. He no longer listened to his normal upbeat pop music, but rather turned to saddening songs for comfort. It eventually occurred to him that she was in his school system. Multiple times he tried telling his family that Yashanie was actually Phylicia of his junior class, but they ignored these statements, as if they thought he were lying just to talk to her. Eventually, he gave up and decided to obey his parents ruling on talking to this 'mystery girl' they had discovered, in hopes that they would allow them to talk again. This plan too, failed, and all summer was spent by himself. His siblings worried about his situation and how he was taking it. After a few days, Axel had lost interest in his brothers condition, and Marry had resumed her everyday activities. As far as Jonathan, he was deeply concerned for his older brother and wished to help him. But no matter how hard he tried to get into Vlad's life, he couldn't breach his brother's high-built walls.
School started back and Vlad gained a small pinch of hope, thinking he and Phylicia would talk again. He made sure to get there early so that he could meet up with her. She ended up getting to school late, and he had lost all hope in talking with her. This was until she knocked at his calculus room. As she entered the room to Find a seat his eyes immediately shot over to his once great friend. For a moment she made eye contact with him, but harshly shifted away. Vlad just looked back down at his desk and sat in silence throughout class. He had decided not to bother her at all until after a few weeks of silence between them. He had managed to catch her in the hallway on a random Wednesday and tried to make friendly conversation, but this didn't work. She blew him off and continued walking, and out of desperation he spun around and loudly asked "do you even care as to what made me leave you?!" This immediately caught her attention and she turned to face him, the tears in her eyes were very noticeable as she said quietly, "I already know. It's the same reason other guys do it". There was a lengthy silence as she gathered the courage to speak and wiped her teary eyes. "It's because I'm flawed and not as easy as the other girls you talked to." Vlad never was able to understand how a girl of such beauty could see herself as less than perfect. At this moment he couldn't speak, it took all of his courage just to approach her and wrap his arms around her and surround her in his warm embrace. He spoke softly to her and explained how his parents completely destroyed all forms of communication and travel with her. She looked into his eyes with a tender sorrow and apologized for they way she reacted. It seemed that everything was going good between the two. Whatever little time they had in and between classes was spent together, laughing and carrying on as if nothing changed.
Vladimir still had intense feelings for the young lady and once she had these feelings towards him, but those days had long since passed. Phylicia had moved on to other men in her life that he had no idea even existed. She was able to keep up this screen for a while with him and things ran smoothly. Then the unfortunate day came when Jeremiah waltzed through during the first class school. Vlad knew her friends appearances and this man was definitely not one of them. Shortly after inquiring about who this man was, he spoke up in a deep, smooth tone and admitted to being Phylicia's mate. Hearing this filled him with an awkward feeling that some call jealousy. It almost seemed that the second he and Jeremiah locked eyes, they knew a legendary rivalry had been formed over the love of one girl. Any time the two of them were within twenty feet of each other they bickered, and occasionally brawled over their large differences. Vlad knew that compared to the man, he was nothing except a boy, and this killed him on the inside.
It had been three months had passed since Phylicia and Jeremiah had gotten together and she had began to question his faithfulness to her, as all women do eventually. She went around behind his back and did some digging into his life away from her. All she found was disappointment and depression. Jeremiah had been spending time with another woman. He would text this other girl all of the time, setting up meetings with her after Phylicia's curfew. By the time Monday rolled around the two had broken up and she felt empty inside. Vlad had tried to talk with her at her locker but she just remained silent, holding her emotions behind her solid and calm gaze. The two of them had been friends for so long that he could tell her emotions by the way she held her eyes and how she spoke. He knew what had happened and a rush of both sorrow and joy flooded through his body. He wanted to hold her and tell her that she will be alright and that everything will work out eventually, but at the same time he wanted to leap and flip down the hall shouting in surprise and joy. After he collected himself, he spun her around and pulled her into his embrace for a comforting hug. He whispered to her, "life has no mistakes Phylicia, everything has a reason for happening." She broke down after his caring gesture, telling him exactly what she felt inside. This was all shocking to him, but nothing shocked him more than what she said lastly. She looked into his Purple eyes with a mixture of fear and passion as she quietly stuttered out "V-vlad... You're the only person that truly cares for me in this world.. W-what I'm saying is.. W-will you be my one and only?" He stood completely still, paralyzed by both overwhelming joy and shock. "Yes I will! I'll be here for you no matter what comes our way." He smiled at her softly and gently kissed her forehead. That simple gesture wasn't enough for her. She reached up with both hands and pulled him down to her, planting a deep kiss on his lips. Their cheeks immediately filled with blush as she pulled away. "I-I love you." He muttered quietly as she scurried down the hall to her next class.
The next few months of their life went perfect. They were able to meet frequently again, go on occasional dates, and even stay over at the others house if home life got rough for one of them. Unfortunately, Jeremiah was forgotten by Vlad, but not gone. He would speak to Phylicia when Vladimir wasn't present. Soon enough, the rumors he had spread to her about other Vlad and some of the other girls he talked to had rooted in her soul. She became suspicious of him and began to distance herself, in fear of being hurt again. Once again Vladimir slipped into depression as the love of his life slipped from his fingers once again, and this time she made it clear she wasn't coming back to him. He tried his hardest to crawl back into her life and gain forgiveness for things he never would've dreamed of doing to her, but it was all in vain. She eventually was 'adopted' by a new group of friends in which Vlad didn't approve of because of their history. It was only a matter of time before her beauty had been realized by one of her new friends, Brandon. Brandon was everything a girl would dream of. He was tall and sturdy-built, his voice was as smooth as silk, and he knew exactly what to say to make a woman melt. She fell for him almost immediately, and hard at that. Vladimir had been absent for two whole weeks due to a nasty case of the flu, and when he returned, he instantly noticed the new guy she was standing around with and felt his heart shatter like a window hit by a boulder when she leaned up and passionately kissed him.
