Jinx walked up to the car of GeeGees meeting her with her ID. The fact that Kim had just left two minutes right before she pulled up, gave him a relief like no other at the moment.
GeeGee rolled the window down....
"Look like you don saw a ghost. What's wrong with you?"
Shaking from the cold early morning and with nervousness, he replied calm like always......
"Nun baby ...its cold as hell out here!"
GeeGee worked as a CNA for a nursing home downtown. Jinx was as a young independent electrician which he left the house like he pleased. All three of them went to the same highschool in Dallas. Jinx played basketball...GeeGee and Kim was cheerleaders. Kim worked at a Starbucks downtown also but was going to school to become a CNA. Her dream was to be a nurse but wanted to start somewhere and build herself up.
"Give me some sugar girls.." Jinx leaned over in the car trying to make things seem normal as possible.
Geegee started laughing
"Boy you didn't even brush yo teeth......Nall I'm just playing" laying one on him.
Jinx walked back into the house as GeeGe drove off. He closed the door, put his back against the wall, and took a deep breath. He immediately started thinking about Kim.....
"Damn man....let me call my baby back....!"
He called five times in a row and it went to voicemail each time.......
**Tuesday 4:50 AM**
"What a night...well what a morning. Jinx punk ass know he wrong for that shit. Ion know why he keep calling me, knowing I'm not about to answer. I'm so stupid for putting myself in that situation any damn way. Soon as he hear that trick ringtone, he change to a whole different person. I been with that man 7months now and he still treat me like shit. Fuck him and her. I could of been just getting out of my bed. It is what it is though....ttyl bout to head in to work."
Kim closed her diary and walked into her job. Walking in, shecould see her manager Sasha smiling at her....
"Girl you look tired...."
Kim slowly walked in yarning ...
"I am Sasha I am!"
Kim clocked in and turned her register screen on. Still looking down logging on....
Suddenly
"Hey can I have Moca Latte PLEASE!"
Kim looked up shocked as ever...
"Oh hey Kim....I didn't know you worked here...."
It was GeeGee!!!
