narunaru: sakura, you're late. Are you lost?
Sakura: naruto, for the last time, I'm not lost. Ino just sucks at following GPS directions
narunaru: ....how tf do get lost when using a GPS???
Sakura: idk we're close though. I see the sign, we're finally here. See you in a bit, make sure no one takes our spot.
Naruto looked up from his phone screen and sighed. Really? Ino gets lost even when the power of technology is giving her step by step directions? Ridiculous, but then again, Ino couldn't follow directions if her life depended on it.
Placing his phone on the table, Naruto stretched his hands high in the air and arched his back a bit as he breathed in the wonderful smell of the bakery just across the street. At the moment, he was sitting in the outdoor restaurant belonging to his friend's mom.
Sakura: where r u at?
narunaru: table at the very corner.
Naruto waved his hand in the air, allowing Sakura and Ino to see where he sat.
"There you are, I thought we'd never make it." Ino sighed, giving Naruto a hug before taking her seat between him and Sakura. Both Sakura and Naruto gave her a look as she reached out of a napkin—as if the girl had the right to complain about being somewhat late when she was the one behind the wheel arguing with a piece of technology. "What?"
Sakura shook her head in disbelief. "Next time, I'm driving." Ino shrugged, picking up a menu that was already placed on the table. "Okay, Naruto. So tell us, what happened this time?" The pink haired girl placed her elbows on the table and leaned forward, ready to listen to her friend's weekly boyfriend troubles—again.
Naruto slumped in his chair and thanked a waiter as he brought a basket of chips. "Sai and I are officially over."
Ino rolled her eyes and shrugged, reaching out for the chips while Sakura nudged her on the side. "What? It's not my fault." She said, munching on the crispy appetizers.
Sakura shook her head in shame towards Ino. She then looked back at Naruto. "I'm sorry to hear that, love. But maybe it's for the better."
"Yeah, maybe next time you should listen to me. I told you Sai was no good." Ino blurted, earning another nudge from the pinkette. "Ow!"
"It's fine. I was over it anyways." Naruto sighed. "Ugh, Sakura. I'm done with boys. Why can't we just go out and marry each other?"
"Sweetheart, you're gay," Sakura commented. "And not only that, we're not old enough to get married."
"So? We're best friends. I'll let you do my hair and we can paint each other's nails and it'll all be okay because we love each other." Naruto leaned over to Sakura.
