"Did you pack your toothbrush!" Shouts my mom from downstairs. "Yes, mom!" As I zip up my suit case my phone starts ringing, with a picture of Julie on the front. Julie and I are in 10th grade at McFallen high school, we have 3 classes together. I don't picture her as my best friend, she only invited me to the summer party because I let her copy off my homework. "Hello?" At first you can her her putting her suitcase down but then she answers, "Yo, Delly!" "My name is Bell." Its not really a hard name to remember but with the brain cells Julie has she can't remember to put pants on. "Whatever, you ready?" "Yeah I am, I'm headed outside right now." I walk past my mom and give her a hug, by the smell of raw cookie dough, and flour on her I knew she made cookies. "Take them, you can give them to your friends!" I love my mom she loves me to death, she will do anything for me. I nod still and the phone and give her another hug. "Bye love you!" She says when I walk out the door. "See you later mom!" Then Julius car pulls up.

All I can say is that Julie is the worst driver ever, on the way to the house she sped over speed bumps, two stop signs and three squirrels. "Your mom's cookies are the bomb!" Julie takes a bit of the cookie with one hand and the other on the other. "Thanks." I say shyly, smiling. "You know Jake is coming to the party." Jake was the super hot guy at the school, he has blond hair, with brown eyes. "Cool." I say trying not to blush. "Here we are." Julie drives into the driveway. The house looms huge! But also a little old and chipped paint. With a gravel driveway, it was a bumpy ride. There is six cars in the grass, parked by the house.
I hop out of the car and follow Julie to the house, I notice weird red marks on the side walk, paint maybe? The two from doors are huge and have a lion holding a ring to knock on the door. We knock on the door, with no answer. We try the door nob but it is locked. We knock again, then the door creaks open. The inside of the house is pitch black, we walk in and the doors slam behind us. "Ahhhh!!!!" Julie screamed, then I feel hand on my shoulders and they drag me down. The lights turn on and I see Tyler on top of me, and Anthony on Julie. "Get off me!" Yells Julie and punches Anthony on the shoulder. "Get off me, Tyler." I say calmly, even though my heart is pounding. "Welcome to Newberry Mansion."
