*Triss' POV*
My parents and little brother all died in a car accident when I was 6. I was the sole survivor. But why? I can't live without them. That's why I don't call this state of existence "life." It's more like hell. The thing about that car accident is that it wasn't accident. My dad was an ex-president of the USA. This means many people went after him. But 6-year old me didn't know this...she wasn't expecting this...
After they died, I was taken in by my Uncle. That f*cking sociopath. He got himself a new girlfriend. He was always jealous of my dad, so he hates me, which obviously is taken over by his new girlfriend. They hit me at every chance they could. Any chore not done, any way I disobey them, instantly spanked. He gets drunk too, and hits me for no reason...
Today, he got drunk, and got mad for no reason, as expected. Me in my room, just calm for once, always have to hear "Trissira! Come the f*ck down here! I need something to hit!" I heard. The normal thing to do would be lock my room, but he'd just slam the door down and whip me harder. I went downstairs to the living room and braced myself. "Yeah...?" I asked. "Hah, you look good today..." He slurred. Drunk...again. "Spin for me." He commanded. Ok, I can understand you hating me and hitting me every single day perfectly without missing even once, but being perverted to me? No. "That's not going to happen." I told him. "You ugly b*tch!" He responded. Expected of a drunken pedophile. "You trying to be disobedient with me?!" He screamed. "No, I just don't expect a normal Uncle to rape me so I'm not doing it. My dad wouldn't do this." My voice was way lower than his so I felt helpless, however, I didn't want to go down to his level by screaming back. But I finally stood up to him. I never did before because all it did was make him hit me harder but him touching is something I just will never allow. Not even over my dead body. "I told you not to talk about him..." He said in a raspy low voice. That voice turned into a scream when he repeated it. "I told you not to!" I saw him raise his hand, showing all of his yellowy alcohol-smelling teeth as he tightened his biceps in order to hit me. I braced myself, even though I didn't need to anymore as my body had grown accustomed to being hit this way and not being able to fight back. After what seemed like 5 years, his hand finally came down and ran right across my cheek. With my head turned completely to the right from the impact, I felt blood pop out of my nose, and more stream out of the corner of my mouth. It doesn't even hurt anymore... I'm worthless. My aunt had come down the stairs due to the screaming and she saw it all go down. She was grinning. I was bleeding after being hit and she was somehow happy. Not surprised. With his hand the other way now, my Uncle just stood there looking at me and breathing heavily. There was an eery silence to the room, though. I heard the News on the television say "A hurricane is about to pass over us, it's a catego-" before it crackled and turned into static. Just then, with a huge crack, I heard the door being broken down. Please be the police here to arrest him for domestic violence... I look back at the doorway, and over all the broken wood, instead of seeing some type of policeman I see a red-faced angry Axel. What are you doing here?! Oh no. I stood silent. My Uncle stayed silent, hyperventilation now gone. My aunt was also silent, with her jaw on the floor. Axel hastily walks in, one foot after another without breaking his continuously fast pace. As he got closer, my uncle screamed "What the f*ck?!" With his pace and stride untouched, Axel came over to me. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Ummm...i-i'm fine." I stuttered. "I said, what the f*ck are you doing here?!" My Uncle repeated as he pushed Axel away. "I could ask you the same thing!" Axel screamed, somehow louder than my Uncle, which intimidated him. He then made a fist and punched my Uncle right on the mouth, and he visibly broke his jaw and sent one of his yellow teeth flying.
It felt good.
