My apologies for writing an INSANELY long author's note, but I have my reasons! ^^'
This is, in a sense, my very first fan fic of any kind! (^///^) (One that I'm sharing, anyway!)
So, this is a horror/mystery/supernatural story that I have been writing in my free time as a hobby! This was actually an original story with original characters, but for some reason I decided to rewrite the entire story with the cast of Naruto! Expect some OOC-ness here and there, though!
The prologue and first chapter of the old version is still on here, and if you read it, you will notice there are MAJOR differences between the two stories....mainly because I had to alter and rewrite major portions in order to accommodate the Naruto cast, AAAND ended up adding a heck of a lot of details!
The original story is still in a notebook of mine somewhere, but I have kind of abandoned the original version in favour of this one, but if you like, I could always continue that one as well!
As I stated before, I ended up changing a lot of things while transitioning from the original to this one, so technically, this is kind of an entirely different story to the one that I had planned, with only the source of inspiration actually connecting the two together... The original had a fairly small cast, and the story wasn't that long either, only a couple of chapters long. But with the fairly large cast of Naruto, I'd say this story would go more than a few chapters! ^^;
Oh yeah, before I forget, the original version of this story is called "The Red Room Massacre". I was originally going to name this one with the same title, but I changed it slightly to avoid confusion, as well as the plot almost being entirely different....
I should also tell you that I'm kind of writing this as I go along, so if you have some ideas that you think would make the story better somehow, then please tell me! I would be sure to credit you! ^_0
