One sentence.

That's the only thing I could remember about the wish I made before he tied the bracelet on my wrist.

I can't seem to remember the exact words I used. Or the exact sentence. But I'm sure of one thing. The thing that I wished for. I'm sure and I know. I wished for it.

"Ay minsan lang...sa buhay ko. . ." Daniel sang the last part and looked at me. He smiled so I smiled back before looking at the audience.

Kuya Robi approached us but I didn't bother greeting him. I was too distracted thinking about the bracelet. I don't know why but it bothers me so much.

"Kathryn?" I heard Kuya Robi called me so I looked at him. "Lutang yata 'tong dyowa mo Daniel," he said and laughed. It was followed by screams and shrieks from the audience. Or, let me rephrase it. Screams and shrieks from the KathNiels.

Napangiti ako nang marinig sila. The supportive, loving, and best fandom of all fandoms I've ever known. I'm so proud of them. And I don't want to disappoint them.

Ibig kong sabihin dyosa! Hindi dyowa!" Kuya Robi laughed and the audience made a noise, louder than before.

"Anong sabi mo kanina?" I asked.

"Ayan!

I even bumped into Darren—the charming and talented child.

"Ay! Sorry. Sorry," I said and he smiled and nodded. But before Daniel and I could get away, he called my name.

"Ate Kathryn! Pwede pa-picture?" he asked, holding his iPhone.

I looked at Daniel and he nodded while smiling. "Sure. Tara," I answered and I saw the excitement written all over his face. I giggled upon remembering another memory from the past.

"Talaga po?! You're really allowing me to go there all by myself?! Without any bodyguards, assistant, or friends?! Without DJ?!" I asked my parents after I heard what they've said. I just want to make sure what I heard is right.

Ngumiti si Mama. "Yes, anak. Basta ba mag-iingat ka do'n eh papayagan ka talaga namin ng Papa mo kahit sa'n mo pa gusto," she replied and I can't help but squeal and laugh.

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I'm so excited! Mag-iimpake na po ako!" I screamed and ran upstairs.

Edi hindi na bakasyon 'yon," I heard mom said before I went straight to my room.

Of course, I won't tell anyone. Not even DJ! Not Arisse nor Julia. Basta! I'll keep this as a secret between me and my family. It's not that I don't want to entertain my fans but...I'm not going there to be an entertainer. I'm going there as a tourist who wants a vacation.

Yes, I'm having a vacation. I'm going to California! I've been there a lot of times but it still excites me because it's the first time I'm going there without anyone to accompany me! It will just me and my suitcase!

I quickly packed my things.
