"I can't." Lexi looks close to tears. "He doesn't want anything to do with me.

I sigh; this is her fourth time trying.

"Let me do it."

I turned to Cola, eyebrows raised. What is she doing? She knows she's no longer allowed.

I can see Jay is trying hard not to laugh.

Conner didn't even bother. "What, you?"

Cola stared at him, unfazed. "Yes, me."

I can't help but feel slightly irritated at the way everyone is taking it. They all know she's a good baiter.

"But-" Jax seems to be trying to find a nice way to say whatever he's about to say. "Well, for one, you don't even have any make up on,  you're wearing a seriously unflattering tracksuit that shows absolutely nothing. And you look like you haven't slept in weeks."

Conner nods, looking at her almost disapprovingly. "Yeah, you look like trash."

Lexi laughed. "Are you even wearing a push up bra? Please tell me you are."

In the back of mind I'm dimly aware that I'm thinking something along the lines of 'she doesn't need one, unlike some'

I ignore the thought, angry at myself for even thinking it, suddenly mad at Cola, as though she had planted the thought in my mind.

I throw her a disgusted look, trying hard not to keep looking at her.

Cola ignored all of us, her expression emotionless. "So will you let me do it or not?"

Jay looks at me, his eyebrows raised in amusement. "Okay." He shrugs. "We could all do with a laugh."

Lexi snickers, her heavily rimmed eyes narrowing, making the black liner look even more exaggerated than before. Cola isn't wearing anything, but still got just as many stares as usual when we walked in. "No guy in their right mind would fall for someone like you."

Cola stares at her. "Well, I guess they aren't too struck up on you, either."

Lexi glares back at her in anger. "If you think you're being funny then you're so wrong."

Cola smirks back but doesn't say anything, and I realise that I have missed her firery side.

"Okay," Jax is smiling. "If you can do it, then you get half the money."

I look at him, raising my eyebrows.

"What? Its not like she actually will."

Cola just laughs at us and walks out of the VIP room, zipping her jacket up to her chin.

Unconsciously I feel my eyes skirting round the club, watching the men that have noticed her.

"That's so freaking unfair." I turn my head and see Lexi standing beside me, arms crossed over her chest. "What has she got that I haven't?"

I don't answer, and I let my eyes jump back to where I last saw her, flitting around frantically when I cant see her anywhere.

I find her, standing at the end of the room, staring at the floor, then, in a second some guy is standing in front of her, saying something.
