I took one last gasp of air and dived off the edge. My body propelling through the dusty air, I slammed my eyelids down and opened my trembling arms. I was flying. It felt amazing, all my nerves vanished, the adrenaline gushed through me. My stomach bulging with butterflies, tears began to rush down my flaw filled face. My wrists began to sting as the air became salty, I was close now.
.
SMASH!!
.
I suddenly felt like I had been slapped by 1000 bare hands. My tender body felt so sore and frozen, the excruciating pain shot through me as if I was being electrocuted. My body racing to the bottom of the sea with a huge amount of force. I could taste the salty grains of sand filling my mouth, stinging my raw lips. I couldn't wait to reach the bottom, all my problems would dissapear, as if they were shatterd glass. All at once my nerves hurried back, I felt literally sick.
.
.
My senses alerted me of the new surroundings, my ears perked up at the short interval beeps emerging from the electrical appliance next to me. I scrunched up my hand and what took me by surprise was the the tube that seemed to be entering my body through my palm. Realising where I was my eyes opened wide and I was greeted by a young male dressed in a nurse uniform.'are you alright?' he asked, looking at me as if I was supposed to be here. He handed me a cup of warm water 'your brother is here to see you' he said smiling.I gave a faint weak smile and he wondered off.
.
Tears began streaming down my already red face as I relized my wrists had been coverd by bandages, they knew. Elliot ran over to my bed as soon as he noticed me 'imogen, imogen, are you okay?' he shouted, gripping me tightly in his quivering arms. I leant my aching head on his warm chest 'I'm okay' I whisperd softly, hoping he wouldn't notice my wrists.
.
'can we question miss Imogen Quinn alone please?'. The police, wanted me, what could I say, I couldn't cope so I decided to kill myself , I don't think that would work , oh my gosh. anxiety filled my body and I couldn't speak I was paralyzed with worry.'we are going to ask you a few questions and if like you to answer truthfully' the man said. I nodded my head and he proceeded to bombard me with questions, I answerd them but on the last one there was no words to come out, I couldn't tell them, they asked how I fell of the cliff. The problem is I didn't fall, so I didn't know what to say, I just shook my shoulders and closed my eyes hoping they would go away. 'very well, miss Quinn' the policeman said as he took steps back down the corridor. 'I will help you' He turned around to see if I was listening, then carried on down the corridor.
