chapter 1: just a normal girl

"Clarity Clarity" I faintly heard as I was awoken by someone who looked really familiar. Only to find out it was my best friend in the world, Illiona-mason Prier. You see we have the same second name. My name is Clarity-Maeson Grey and hers is Illiona-Mason Prier.

"Ughhhh go away Illiona" I say as I'm still half asleep

When she replied it wasn't her talking it was her winy ass voice that she uses to get people to do stuff for her. " Clarity-Maeson Marie Grey get up now before your late for school". I ignored her intill what she said clicked in my brain.

School I totally forgot about school. She started to shake me so I would get up but still not wanting to get up I didn't budge. Intill she started tickling me. "Okay okay I'm up". I yelled trying to open my eyes but I found my room to be to bright.

When I put my feet off the side of my bed and stood up, I fell straight to the ground. I heard Illiona laughing at my clumsiness but then she helped me up.

I then looked at my clock on my night stand and saw that it was 7:46, my bus it supposed to come at 7:55. I have less then ten minutes to get ready.

I walked over to my closet and picked out a simple yet cute outifit, that included light washed high wasted skinny jeans that are ripped in some places, and a very simple crop top that said West coast best coast in bright neon colors.

The shoes I picked out were my all white Jordan's. I then grabbed my camo bra with greenish brown lace and my under wear that match. I walked out of my room and into the bathroom to take a quick shower.

I got undressed and stepped in the shower. I didn't have the water really hot but it was pretty hot. I washed my hair and body really fast then went and grabbed my towel from the toilet seat.

When I was out of the shower and about to get dressed I noticed my clothes weren't there and the door was wide open. Then I remembered my brothers friend Jake was over.

Every time Jake is here and I take a shower he does this, sometimes it gets annoying and sometimes I enjoy the fact he pays attention to me.

I go into my brothers room and only my brother Caleb was in there and then I said " Were is Jake". He didn't reply at first and then I was about to walk away and he answered.

"He's downstairs in the other bathroom" After I heard that I stomped downstairs and opened the bathroom door with no hesitation. He was most definitely there, and he did have my stuff.

I walked up to him and made sure I had a grip on my towel just in case and said " Jake give me my clothes please". I don't Evan know why I said please he's not going to listen either way.

"Hmm let me think since u said please I guess u can have them" he held his hands out with the clothes. I went to grab them just as my towel fell.

I grabbed my towel as fast as possible and snatched my clothes then walked off. I heard faint laughing from him but didn't care anymore. I was mad. Really mad.

I walked into my room and got dressed in my clothes then walked downstairs were Illiona had wondered to. I checked the time and it read 8:00. "Great" I said to myself.

I asked Illiona for a ride but she said no cause she already told my brother yes and her back seats are full. Yah right. I then had no choice I walked upstairs and knocked on my brothers door.

"Umm Jake can I talk to u" I then added the word "please" at the end off my sentence. He came out of the room with no shirt on. I had no choice but to check him out, he was buff I hadn't really noticed before.

He then said " Done checking me out yet" and threw in one of his signature smirks. Oh god how I love that smirk.

Then I had noticed I was blushing and I said "You got to check me out while I was naked so I get to check you out" I got a little harsher as I said while I was naked but you know I honestly don't care.

"Good thing it was a nice view too" he said with that same smirk on his face. I wish he was like this at school wit me but he's not. He's just the topical guy who forgets about the girl.

"Hey I was just wondering if u could give me a ride to school I missed the bus?" I made the best winy face I could as I said that. Of course him being his playful self around me when I'm at home he agreed.

We were now outside about to get on his motorcycle when he asked me a question "Why do u let me do the stuff I do when I'm at your house?". I didn't know how to answer so I did my best.

" Umm I actually don't know" I said with out breaking the tension between us. Then he broke the tension by looking away and getting on the bike.

I grabbed his waist as he drove off.

We arrived at school and I got off and gave him his helmet. I then said "Thanks agian Jake I owe it to u" and then walked away. I figured he didn't want to be seen with me so I decided to hurry off.

I went straight to my locker and got my History books out. When someone walked up to me and tapped my shoulder. I looked behind me and saw no one other then Maria High.

Maria High is the as the people call them *Popular girls" but I call them royal bitches.

She then said to me " Hello Clarity". I replied with a short answer that was "Hello Royal Bitch".

All she did was scoff at me and continued to talk " So I heard that you and Jake Rode together to school is it true". Of course she had to find out.

"Yes Maria its true" I said as I tried not to barf by her perfume choices. She looked at me surprised like I was lying. I bet u someone told her otherwise and of course she believes them.

She still had that face on as she said "Well that's not what Jake said, i was with him this morning when he got here and I heard someone say that and he said it wasn't true". It was my turn to make a surprised face.

Like I said earlier I wish he was fun and outgoing with me at school to but he just forgets about me. I had to reply or she would think she one so I said.

" I have to get to class bye Maria". I actually don't there's still ten minutes but I'm done talking to her. As I was walking away I saw the one and only Jake with another girl. I don't know why but seeing him in his player ways makes my stomach hurt.

I always get sad when I see him kissing another girl. He saw me staring and deepened the kiss. I then ran the opposite way as I did that I looked back and he pulled away and started walking my way, so I sped up trying not to let him catch me.

Okay I know this book isn't the best but I'm trying I hope u guys enjoy it sorry for cliff hanger... I don't Evan know if anyone is reading this but still hope u enjoy
