S Y N O P S I S

     Every morning, Elisa brushes her mousy hair, shoves on her ankle boots, and rides the eight A.M bus downtown to Coffee and Chocolate, a chic cafe where she works as head barista. Her life is an endless series of repetitions, recurrences, and reruns. However, the morning she meets Jay runs her life into an unexpected spiral, and little did she know, he would be her greatest addiction.

I N S P I R A T I O N S

this is my modern take on the literature work, Romeo and Juliet. Anyone who has read it understands the fairytale of love at first sight, and although I don't believe in that fairytale, this short story is a take on that subject: if you see the character development being rushed, this is why. Romeo and Juliet met and fell in love in a very short period of time; I am mocking/interpreting this with my own characters and modernized story.
