The Last Ship

"What's wrong Owen?" I ask frantically as he hangs up the phone. "Okay so things just went from bad to worse" he says looking at us all. "This was just bad.." Gray says eyes wide while Zach puts an arm round him. "It looks like the pterodactyls have destroyed the electrical mains" he rushes. "Guys the parks unarmed, all cages are unprotected witch means this just went from a dinosaur park to a feeding ground" he pours out worry following his face. "Oh my god, what about the guests? What are we going to do?! How are we going to get out of here?!" Claire presses almost on the verge of tears. "The ships have been coming in with armed guns but it's not enough! The last ship leaves in 15 minutes they can't wait for us it's to dangerous" he says as we all realise what this means. "So we are trapped here on an island with hundreds of dinosaurs roaming around?!" I say realisation of the situation kicking in. Zach moves to me and puts shaking hand on my back as a reassurance that everything will be okay. But his trembling hand tells me otherwise. "The press! They know about this my career is over we are-" Claire starts to ramble until own strides to her cutting her off. "Are you seriously worried about that?! Claire we are stranded on this island until they can get another ship here with better weapons! The park was done for as soon as you made that THING!" He almost shouts. Claire is struck by his words ashamed of thinking of anything but how we are going to survive this. "Guys, there are a few others at base in a lock down room incase of emergencies they want us to get there if we can, they had to stay to allow the ship to get away as the override was unattached in the electricity room" Owen explains pulling out a map of the park. "Here's the plan. We need to get to the electricity block, and switch the power back on. This will hopefully trap some of the dinosaurs on sections making it easier for us to get across the park. Then we make our way to the lockdown room" he explains "we stick together and we survive together" he finished with.
"Let's do this" I say just as a loud noise is heard a couple of feet away.
"Get in the van NOW!" Owen shouts as we rush towards the van. Jumping in I grab Zachs hand just as spinosaurus broke our from the trees. "DRIVE!!" I scream as Owen pushes on the gas. "Do you see what is after us?!!" I scream at Owen. "Yes and I very much would like to lose this thing!!" He pants as he swirves and bends through the Forrest the dinosaur right on our tail. "I'm assuming that's no plant eater" gray says hopeful. "I wish but let's try worse than a T-Rex" I swallow the lump in my throat. "What?! Is that even possible?! God this day gets better and better" says Zach as Claire screams for Owen to take a sharp left. "There we can cut it off there it's the storage area! The cars big enough to go through the cave. The doors within it!" She points. The Car halts to a stop inside the small cave in front of the storage door and we turn praying this has worked. In the halt in thrown towards the cans back doors and I feel hot breath at my back. "Anna don't look behind you" says Owen. Of course being me I turn slowly to see the mouth of the large dino. It was unable to get right in however it's mouth could reach in nearly inches away from the vans back doors and I could feel the breath on back back. "Climb through the hatch Owen says as he rips open the hatch leading to the front seats. "Go I push gray through the gap. Zach motions for me to go next and I climb through turning to take his hand. Once he is through we feel the car begin to shake. "Get out now!! It's pulling it out!" The car jolts backwards and the feat flashes on our faces and we jump to the side door.
