The picture fiasco blew over, thank goodness.
The fans kicked up a pretty big fuss though. The possibility that Niall had found his princess at long last had upset the whole fandom; some were happy, some were sad. Yet nothing was confirmed, it was all in mystery.
We didn't know what to do. Niall was torn between saying it was just a friend, but therefore lying, or saying it was all rumours.
He had no choice. I was an 'old friend'. He didn't say who I was though, we agreed on that.
Summer passed by in a blur of laughs, Skype calls with Niall and walks or trips with my friends.
It was pretty perfect actually.
And when something's perfect, you know it won't last for long. Something ruins it.
And for me, that little something was called school.
All thanks to Niall's ringtone. I didn't want to change it, I was afraid of losing it, so when it rang in the middle of the corridor I had to do some prettttty quick improvisation. The bell had just gone, and I had just left Maths, threading my way through the busy corridor. And then, my phone rang.
On full volume.
"HEY HEY HEY HEY hello hello hello hello hello hello PICK UP HANE SOMEONE IMPORTANT IS CALLING, NIALL IS CALLING YOUUUUUUUUU"
But of course, my phone would NOT come out of my blazer pocket.
How typical.
So I was in a packed corridor of teenagers, in the middle of school with a phone that was I was technically not allowed to have with me in school ringing on full volume. Yay.
That wasn't the worst of it though. Only Cath and Amy knew about 'me and Niall' out of all my friends at school, so I had to be careful of what I said. I never appreciated how hard it would be to lie when people asked you what you did last night.
In my head, my response was "spoke to Niall, did my homework, went to dancing, texted Niall, slept". Fair enough, right?
However, I don't like lying. I try to avoid it at all costs, mainly because I am an absolutely awful liar. So making me improvise was quite an arduous task. Somehow I seemed to manage it though.
It was a tricky time - juggling school, show rehearsals, dancing, what little social life I had and then Skyping Niall. Thankfully the tour was only in the UK just now, so at least timing worked out okay.
I just made a smiley face in my mind after I said that. Oh dear. Anyone else do that? I do. Especially when I'm texting someone and I am writing a sad face, so I feel the need to do one in real life. A few odd looks are given, but tbh, how much do I care?
Not much.
It's coming up to Niall's birthday soon. I might try to visit him, mum and dad would be fine with it..
Hmm. Now to try and organise that. TRAIN TICKETS COME AT ME BRO. I like trains.

I am so sorry, but here is a small link to the next part of the story. Life just got in the way, and I wasn't feeling very good. So if anyone actually cares, then they can ask, but otherwise, keep smiling and I will begin to upload more regularly. Again, please vote and comment and TALK TO ME, because that is the main reason I don't upload - I forget! So even if its just a reminder, then yay!
ALSO, ANNOUNCEMENT - I am giving you guys first news about this, before I advertise on the boards.
I AM NOW TAKING REQUESTS FOR PERSONALISED ONE-SHOTS. I have a couple written already that will be uploaded once I have a few more done. So yeah, if you want one, speak to me :-)
