"Hello?" I hear a soft feathery women's voice call "Torra?".
I slowly lift my eyelids. There is a girl standing in front of me.
"Where am I" I ask, matching her calm voice,"am I back at Gerad's?"
"No, you are in Avalon." She replies,"my name is Avanecence, but you can call me Avea."
"Ok." I say to Avea. "Where's Quin?"
"Everyone you knew was in the old world, we are here now in the new world, Avalon." She repeats.
"What about Mads, Sheq, ideana, mother... Are they gone?"
"They are not gone, Torra. You have left their world, you can return, once you are eligible, if you choose."
I let out a small tear. Gone, for a while.
"we will have a chosen meeting tomorrow, you will meet ones similar to you and make new friends, you came late, most of us arrived a few days ago." She informs me.
I nod a thanks.
"Is Quin your boyfriend?" She blurts.
At this instant, I realize that we must be the same age, dropped off at around the same time, in this new world called Avalon, and both obviously caring for boys.
"Yes" I reply confidently, "how 'bout you?"
"Well, there is this one guy, I don't really know if he likes me, his name is Rowan." She says, "he lives here, in Avalon too."
I cough back some tears.
"Oh, I'm so sorry" she says.
I nod in aproval. I happen to be nodding more than talking.
"How did i get here" I ask, after neglecting to question the obvious.
"Soutcher" she answers "I think. That is why a lot of people are here in Avalon. At least from our group, like I said, you will meet them tomorrow, they are a nice bunch." She bites her lip. "I don't know much, Rowan only explained the basics to me, but you should get some sleep. We can move you to your living quarters when you awake."
I thank her, and with that fall into the deep crevasse of sleep.
