"And then, he just suddenly gone for weeks now. I don't have his number, he won't give it to me. I don't even know if he's still alive." Danielle stops rambling and takes a bite of her now cold sandwich. She's been talking for half and hour about this guy she met online two months ago who suddenly disappears into thin air. It's amazing how many guys she has been seeing within this month only. I wonder how it feels like to feel wanted, to feel appreciated and cherished. I guess I wouldn't know since I can't even look into someone's eyes for 10 seconds without feeling like I'm being attacked.

"Maybe he's busy. Or something terrible happened. Or his internet connection cut off." I said, shrugging. "Internet connection? We text each other, Ally." scoffing, she takes another bite of her lunch before throwing the rest of it into the bin. "Hey! if you don't want to finish that give it to me. I haven't eat anything since this morning." It's true. I woke up at 7:30 this morning and had only half an hour to get ready for school. Dani sips on her drink, we're still sitting in the cafeteria, waiting for the bell to ring.

As Dani starts texting on her phone, probably checking texts from Tony the internet guy, I look around the cafeteria. I have this habit of watching people when I'm bored. I guess it's intriguing how everyone in here has their own story. I watch as the girl with really cute flat shoes laughing, flipping her shiny white hair back and leans closer to the boy next to her. Lillian Andrews. And Louis Tomlinson from the soccer team. I don't know much about the gossips in this school but I do know that Lily is pretty damn rich. I'm not gonna lie she's extremely pretty too. And Louis, I just know him cause Dani had a crush on him last year.

In their group of friends I spot the boy at the back, not really paying attention at what the others are laughing about. His full attention is on the little black book in his hands, writing something down with concentration. I notice the small tattoos on his hands. I bet he owns more than just the small ones I can see right now since he's wearing long sleeves. I know his name, he just moved to this school 4 months ago but I forgot.

"Hey, what's the new boy's name?" I nudged Dani's shoulder. She looks up from her phone to look at me before her eyes follows where I'm staring at. "Hudson." She said, continue typing away in her phone. "Hudson." I say again, nodding, watching Hudson smiles softly at what he's written. The school bell rings, breaking my little people watching session. I got up and wait for Dani to walk together since we have the same class next.

"Harry, come on." I heard Louis Tomlinson say, motioning for Hudson to follow him. Oh, it's Harry. I silently glare Dani without her noticing before we make our way to Biology.

I pack my things as the last bell rings, thank god I'm super hungry. "Finish all the papers I gave to you. I want them on my table on Monday and I expect every single one of you to finish them. See you tomorrow."

I run out of the class, not caring about what Mrs. Allen is saying. I'll do the papers on Sunday.

I saw Hudson- Harry, walking out of his class. Head's down and dodging everyone around him, making his way to his car. I find it very weird that he's quiet but he hangs around the popular and loud kids. But then again I don't even know him that much. He probably talks too much with his friends for all I know.

I saw my mom's car in front of the building and quickly climb into the vehicle. "Can we go to KFC or something? I'm really hungry." I whined, throwing my bag to the backseat. My mom frowns, "Hell no, I made lunch already. Didn't you eat during lunch?" I shake my head, dramatically clutching my empty tummy. "I left my purse." She lets out a sigh and starts lecturing me about my clumsiness. I groan loudly when she suddenly talks about my messy room. I don't know how she went from my purse to my room in one sentence but she has done this a couple of times before.

I replied with "Yes, mom." at the end of every sentence until we're finally home. I step out of the car and go straight to my room. With a sigh, I fall back on my bed, grateful for the softness of the mattress and the warmth of my blanket. I reach for the book I place next to my pillow only to realize I finished it last night before going to sleep. Hence, waking up late for school. I need to borrow a new book from the library tomorrow.

"Allison, your friend's here!" My mom yelled from downstairs just as I walk out of the bathroom. "One second!" I replied, putting my duck pants on, cause it's comfortable, and a sweatshirt. Running down the stairs, I see our neighbour's son at the door, smiling widely at me. His jet black hair styled perfectly, with the black t-shirt he's wearing, he looks really nice. "Hey Zayn," I greet politely. "Hey. I hope you don't mind I stop by." He smiles, shoving his hands into his pocket. "No, not all. What's up?" I stare up at him, admiring his beauty. I used to have a crush on him a couple of years ago but it stopped when he brought his girlfriend to the dinner my family had with the Malik. They broke up, but still, it's not like I have any chance.

"I'm having a movie night with my friends tonight, thought I'd invite you." I like movie nights but I don't know about hanging out with his friends. I'm awkward around people, I don't want to embarass him. "I'd love to Zayn, really. But it's just that I uhm, I have to work on my art project. Maybe next time?" I cringe at how stupid I sound. He frowns but nods, "That's fine. But if you change your mind, I only live next door." He laughs sweetly. After exchanging goodbyes with Zayn I close the door and make my way to the kitchen to eat.

I spend my evening re-reading the book I finished last night. I saw headlights pass my window, it must be Zayn's friends. I look out the window, hiding behind my blue curtains. I saw Louis Tomlinson walks out of one of the car. There are like five other people but I can't see anything since there's a tree in front of my house, blocking my view.

I look at the clock, it's only 10 but my eyes felt heavy. I get under the blanket and switch off the lamp before drifting off to sleep.
