Guardian of the wolves part: 2

It was early morning before dawn, Rin was up and about, the wolves awake as well as they wandered around the house,
"Who's coming to town with me?" Rin called toadu barked loudly making Rin smile "alright out and jump into the ute!" Rin shouted throwing on her jacket and letting the other two wolves out
"We'll be back in a bit" Rin called, locking the door and hoping into her ute.. She wasn't allowed to drive. But she did anyway. Toadu jumped into the back and howled
"Yeah! Howling for life!" Rin shouted as she turned the key and started the ute up. The ute then drove off. Rin sighed as she looked out of there wondow,
"Beautiful isn't it?!" She shouted back too toadu who howled in response. Rin smiled as she focused on the car... Her right eye then opened as she drove the ute through the forest.. Only just coming out onto a road that lead to Wolfridge.. The local town... Rin sighed as she finally parked the ute. Toadu jumped out and growled
"Calm down toadu. No one here will bother us" Rin stated... Sighing as she walked along the side walk, people staying well away from her.. Toadu barked at something making Rin look up
"Uh hi.." The person stated.. Toadu growled...
"Hi. And who are you?"
"Uh... Someone"
"Stupid" Rin stated... Walking past.. Toadu growled as Rin sighed and kept moving, she then walked into a store
"Oh hello wolf" the store keeper spat
"Hello Kevin" Rin greeted grabbing a handful of supplies and a 5kg back of raw meat. She lifted it up over her shoulder and dropped it on the counter
"There that's all I need" Rin stated Kevin then scammed everything and smirked
"You gonna eat all that?"
"No, it's for the upcoming winter so I can hibernate. Of course not you idiot, it's for my friends" Rin growled grabbed the meat and another two bags and walked out,
"Geez people here are so rude" Rin stated sighing as she walked down the street.. Rin let out a shaky breathe as she came into the supplies store
"Hey max" she stated sighing, max ignored her
"Creep" he muttered as Rin sighed.
"I'll need the trailer" she stated as she sighed.
"You need some help?" Someone asked, Rin looked back and stared up at the man. He seemed to be smiling
"I wouldn't mind any. Would you be able to hold these?"
"Sure" the guy said taking the bags from rin's hands
"Toadu, stay" Rin ordered as she ran out and dogged towards her pickup truck she then hopped in and drive it around to the front of the store.. It was old red one... But it was comfortable, Rin then parked it and sighed as she jogged back in and smiled
"Thanks" Rin stated as she took began taking the bags, the man moved his hands away from hers
"Get what you need first. I'll hold these" he stated.. Rin looked at him and sighed
"Yeah" toadu wasn't growling.. Probably meaning this man was okay, toadu sat next to the man and watched as Rin got the right amount of wood and nails.. She then walked over to the counter
'I wonder why she weeds all that stuff' the guy thought.. Rin then paid for it and looked towards the man
"Come on my trucks just out there" she stated, the man nodded and followed. Rin then climbed up on the the back tyre of her ute and put the wood down, she then got some rope and tied it down. The man standing their with the bags in his hands
"Oh thanks again, I needed that" Rin stated taking the bags from the man's grasp and putting them in the back
"Toadu! Back" Rin called as the wolf jumped into the back.. The man watched quietly. Rin then looked to him and sighed
"Uh.. I'm Rin by the way"
"Kakashi... Kakashi hatake" the guy stated smiling. Rin nodded and looked to him again
"You wanna stay the night? I could use some help"
"If you need it" kakashi muttered shrugging.
"Hop in then" Rin stated smiling as she started up the ute.. Kakashi was quick to hop in on the passenger seat and closed the door.
"How old are you anyway?" He asked
"16" Rin stated smirking as she check toadu was in the back, he howled as she drove off.. Putting on some native music..
"This is the life, no worries bout being in the city. Your just free" Rin stated looking out the window. Kakashi nodded
"It's beautiful.."
"It is" Rin agreed.
"I live there as well"
"You do?" Kakashi asked turning his head towards hers. Rin nodded
"I do. Toadu does too. It means a lot to me that I live there"
"Yeah" kakashi whispered looking back at the wolf.
"So a wolf follows you?"
"Yeah three do actually that one just follows me everywhere" Rin explained sighing
"He's the youngest... The three are siblings.. Orphans" Rin whispered sighing as she turned onto her drive way.
"You like living out here?" Kakashi asked, Rin nodded
"I do. My dad lived here when he was young, I did to until I was 13" Rin stated.. Kakashi just stared at the scar over her eye
"Where did you get that scar?"
"Past" she muttered. Kakashi nodded and sighed
"Yeah" he muttered... Rin sighed and parked the car on the snow.. Where a little cabin stand... A hole on the rood.
"So that's why you needed the wood" kakashi muttered, Rin nodded
"A blizzard a few bays ago left a hole in the roof, I've had to sleep in the lounge" Rin stated as the two other wolves ran up to her and tackled her, Rin smiled and hugged them
"Hey guys! I wasn't one for that long geez!" Rin laughed as she sat up.. The wolves then all stared at kakashi who was watching
"Oh uh, I'll get the wood" he Kakashi mumbled grabbing the wood and walking towards the cabin, Rin sighed but laughed a little.
"Well run along guys" the wolves then ran off towards kakashi who managed to move it of the way before he was toppled over. Rin smiled and grabbed the bags. She then caught up with kakashi and sighed
"Just set it down here. I'll fix the roof later" Rin stated.. Kakashi nodded and Rin kicked the door open and let Kakashi in
"Hurry up can't hold it open for ever you know" Kakashi then stepped in and Rin set the bag of meat down. The loves staring at her
"No guys this is for blizzards only" Rin muttered stuffing the raw meat into the freezer and setting the other bags on the kitchen bench
"So uh. You can sleep anywhere really I don't  exactly care" Kakashi looked to her and nodded
"Yeah, but why have such a big place?"
"My dad had 6 brothers and 1 sister.. So the house had to be big" Rin muttered sighing as she opened her right eye and sighed..
"So why are you wearing that?" Rin asked Kakashi looked down at his attire and chuckled
"It's what I wear. It keeps me warm I guess"
"Your not from around here are you?" Rin asked, kakashi nodded
"No no where near here"
"Okay then where from? Australia? South America?"
"Uh... Most likely japan"
"Hm. Understandable" Rin stated.
"My mom is part Japanese. My dad was American" Rin stated. As she sat on the kitchen bench and closed her right eye
"Mom ditched me though"
"That's harsh"
"Well I guess she had a reason. Not wanting a wolf as a child" Rin muttered the brown wolf wined
"Alright you can go hunt, I'm not the boss of you mapku" Rin stated sighing,  "of either of you" Rin growled, kakashi looked at her
"You can understand them?"
"I guess" Kakashi looked at her and nodded. Sitting down on the floor and sighing
"Well I'm gonna go work on the roof"
"Want help?" Kakashi asked, Rin shrugged
"If you want to" Rin said quietly as she went outside, kakashi grabbing the needed wood. Rin then climbed up and look through the hole.
"Geez didn't think it would be this big" Rin muttered to herself as kakashi stood behind her. Rin sighed as the two began working... The wolves watching from the ground.
"Line it up Kakashi"
"I know" Kakashi muttered back as he lined it up. Rin the secured the wood with a nail and sighed as then contiued
"Geez, looks like they'll be snow tonight. Hope the wolves get somewhere safe"
"You care for those animals don't you?" Kakashi asked hammering a nail into the wood.
"Yeah, they are the only family I have" Rin whispered sighing. Kakashi sighed
"I'd imagine living up here alone had made you Unsocial"
"No not really, I try to make friends but most just think of me as a creep" Rin stated going back to help Kakashi.
"You don't seem creepy" Kakashi told her, it made Rin smile
"Yeah well you don't know me"
"I could" he whispered.
"Yeah you could I guess" Rin sighed as they finally finished, Rin then climbed down. Kakashi just jumped
"Geez you idiot! You want to break a bone?!" Rin shouted lowering the ladder and hitting his head.
"I'm fine, you don't need to hit me" kakashi muttered rubbing his head. Rin sighed
"Yeah well be careful would ya? Don't need to drive up to the hospital cause you broke your leg or something" Rin said sighing. Kakashi sighed ad walked into the house.  The loves following after him
"It's a lot warmer then yesterday... " Rin whispered sitting Infront of the fire, kakashi on the couch. Rin looked back at him as he relaxed and closed his eye..
I wonder what he hides behind that headband thing Rin though getting up and sitting beside him staring at the headband
"What are you doing Rin?" Kakashi asked turning his head towards her.
"Oh uh... Just wondering"
"Wondering about what?"
"What's under the headband" Rin whispered, kakashi gave her a blank look.
"A scar like yours" he stated. Rin gave him a questioning look, kakashi then sighed and lifted his head band, showing a scar over his right eye just like rin's
"A reminded of something I'll never forget" he stated, Rin looked down
"Same for me" she whispered. Kakashi pulled his headband up and sighed
"I'd stay in here Kakashi. It's warmer, you'll freeze in any of the other rooms"
"Yeah I'll stay in here then" he whispered leaning his head back and sighing. Rin looked at him and grabbed a pillow and lifted his head a little making him look at her.
"Just so your comfortable, I've woken up and I couldn't even move get up because my neck hurt so bad" she whispered.. Kakashi nodded
"Thanks" he whispered Rin nodded as she moved back down to the floor and check on the wolves, she then moved a bit of burning wood and plonked a few more logs in it, she then moved back to the couch and sat on the other side..
"Night kakashi" Rin mumbled as she closed her eyes
"Night Rin" he whispered. Rin soon fell asleep... Smiling that she may of made a new friend... That would maybe.. Just maybe accept her as who she was..
