(Alyssa's POV)

    Today is yet another stupid day. I have a 5 AM shift today at work because I have to work at the unloading station. Hopefully I don't get paired up with that asshole Liam. I don't know why but he just hates me. Every time I'm near him he gives me a disgusted look or just leaves the room. But I honestly don't care.    

    I got a text from Steven for the seventh time this morning. No joke. How the hell is he awake at 5:00 in the morning?!? 'Hey just checking in on you. You told me that you had a 5 AM shift, so I decided that I'd send you a good morning text!' Ugh his text made me cringe. I don't even know why I'm still with him. He's waay too clingy.

    I was suddenly interrupted by a scoff coming from the right of me. Liam. God, why did you do this to me? "So I guess we're paired up?.." I asked shyly. Why am I shy right now? "Sadly." He replied rolling his eyes. I walked over to one of the boxes stacked on the table and started unboxing. "So Liam, why-" Liam cut me off. "Alyssa, I honestly just want to get my work done without talking to you." He took a box, turned around, and walked to another desk. Well then, I try to make friends and he decides to be a jerk. Two can play at this game.

    I walked over to him, rested my elbow on the desk, and looked at him. "What the hell is your problem with me?" I asked while trying not to explode. He looked me in the eyes and said, "Leave." His voice made my body shiver. It sounded so cold and empty. I kept looking at him. "No." I sat down in the rolley chair next to him. He pushed the chair away from him. "I said leave. What part of that don't you understand?!" He growled at me. I walked back over to him and stood in front of the table. "I just want to understand why you always give me disgusted looks and leave the room when I enter it. I want to know what I do that makes you hate me so much." I slammed my hand on the table.

    He stood up and walked over to me. He looked like he was about to answer. But instead he grabbed my face and kissed me. What the hell is going on right now?!? I kissed back. The kiss actually felt good. What is happening? He pulled back, looking into my eyes. He opened his mouth, about to say something, but then he left. Taking all of his stuff with him. Even the explanation to that kiss.
