Chapter 1

This is my very first story let alone fan-fiction so please don't judge! Also I have school so I will not update in a regular routine. I will do it when I have time! Not everything will be accurate, just warning you so y'all don't complain. Even the fact that you read up to here is over whelming! Thank you so much and I hope you guys enjoy! Rose's POV

Bring! The bell finally rang! Today I am turning 18 and my mother told me I couldn't open my presents until after school. I wanted to rush home because there were a lot of big boxes in the living room. I know, I know, why would I be exited about presents at age 18, right!?! Well I am going to go ahead and say it, I am still a child at heart [at least that is what my mom tells me ;)] .

" Joe, hurry your bottom up, I don't got time for this!" I impatiently told my best friend.

"I am coming jeez!" he playfully smirked.

"What? why are you smiling like that? What did you get me!" I demanded knowing that smile all too well. That was the same smile he gave me before he gave me my first roller skates. It is also the same smile he gave me when he bought me my dog, Ema. He smiles the same smile every year just for my birthday. Especially before he gives me his present.

" I can't say." He said simply before walking up ahead of me towards the parking lot. He has longer legs so it took me a bit of energy before I could catch up with him.

By the time I reached his car, I was too out of breath to say anything.

" Do you want to get a smoothie before we go to your place?" he asked, but before I could reply, Perfect came on the radio. I dropped everything and started to sing along.

I might never be your knight in shining armor

I might never be the one you take home to mother

I might never be the one who brings you flowers

But I can be the, be the one tonight

I belted out the lyrics as if my life depended on it, enjoying every last note. Joe rolled his eyes at me, but sang along in between laughs.

As soon as the song ended and we were nearing the intersection by the smoothie place.

" So, do you want a birthday smoothie?" Joe asked

" After my presents!" I said in a five year old voice

" It is now or never." Joe said trying to cope with my weird self.

"Never say never." I said " And after my presents!" I playfully pouted and crossed my arms in my five year old voice.

" Ughhh fine!" He said as he turned on to our street. I jumped out of the car and ran into my house before Joe even parked properly. I ran as fast as my little legs would take me.

" I am home! I am ready for my presents!" I yelled as I jumped onto the sofa. Joe slowly walked into the house and gave my mother a kiss on the cheek on his way in.[ we are like siblings so that is normal. for all you weird minds out there!]He sat on the couch next to me and gave me one of the big boxes. I opened the biggest box to find a smaller box inside it. There was and even smaller box there, and another even smaller box inside that one until I got to an envelope. I kept my smile on, but I was disappointed, because what significant thing besides money could there possibly be in an envelope. As soon as I opened the envelope my eyes grew huge.

" Oh my, Oh my, Oh my Gosh are you serious!" I screamed in joy. Not only was there one, there were two one way tickets to London!

"Don't look at me! That one is from Joe." My mother beamed. I attacked him in a hug making the sofa fall, but I didn't care, being too busy squeezing the air out of Joe.

"Thank you J.J, Joey, Joseph, JoJo!" I though of all the nicknames he had.

" Can't.....Breathe...." he said. I quickly jumped off.

"Well, I have another surprise." Joe said smiling as he fixed the sofa.

"What, like this isn't enough!" I said, my heart rate increasing.

" I got into the Uni in London." He said shielding himself from yet another attack.

" OMG, this is the best day of my life! Now, school just needs to end." I said, already imagining my life in the future. I got into the same uni that Joe got into, and he told me that he hadn't gotten the results yet, back when I did! Squeeee! OMG! This is going to be phenomeniall(I know cheesy, but just have it)!

Joe's POV

The last week of school wizzed by, and it was the morning of the flight. I woke up extra early to make sure we had our passports and things. My room was mostly bare because I had already shipped most of my things to the house I went ahead and rented. I wanted that part to be a surprise, so I didn't tell Ray-Ray(My nickname for rose). I got dressed and ready. I knew Ray-Ray would be sleeping so I grabbed my keys and jogged over to her place, with my small suitcase( I already sent everything except my essentials, I got her mother to send her's too). I unlocked the door with my spare key. I opened her bedroom door and shook her wildly awake.

"Ahhh!" She screamed, she turned to look at me, then she went back to sleep.

" Wake up Ray-Ray. Today is a very special day!" I exclaimed happily. She replyed with a pillow on top of her head as she mumbled some words I shouldn't repeat.

"One Direction was just reported in town!" I yelled. She jolted awake.

"What? When? Where?" She yelled as she jumped out of bed and rummaged through her remaining clothes.

" In London, which will be'town' to us soon!" I said.

" Why didn't you say in the first place?" She asked cheery all of a sudden. I just shook my head. Ray-Ray could be a morning person, if you got after the part where she wakes up. I went downstairs to make make breakfast.

Ray-Ray's POV

" I am full!" I said, pushing back my plate. As always I was the last one to finish. I turned to my mother, who was dressed in her work clothes, and smiled. She had tears in her eyes and as we started to leave she kissed both of our for heads. " Make sure to Skype me regularly, and call me anytime!

"Yes mom!" I said as I skipped away, trying to avoid the heart aching in my chest. This isn't going to be as easy as I thought!

I know it was a short chapter, but I am just getting started! Okay, so Please comment and I have a contest type thing...

So, I need a title! And please recommend me a title. The person who's title I choose gets to be a character in the story! Please participate!
