Prologue~
My name is Emma Mae Hudson. I'm 14 years old. I live in Virginia Beach. I live with my mom and abusive stepdad and his daughter, Chloe. My mom is also an alcoholic. A bunch of kids at school make fun of me all the time. The only thing worth living for is my boyfriend, Tyler. Sadly, he lives in New York City. And his father is an alcoholic and gets bullied as well. We met online and have been wanting to meet for a long time. But our parents are keeping us apart and know nothing about what we're doing to ourselves.
