My mouth was on hers with her face gently cupped in my hands before I even knew what I was doing. She didn't jerk away or shove me back instead her delicate hands came up to my chest as if to push me away, instead her fingers curled around my shirt to pull me closer. A soft moan escaped her as my tongue teased hers. Those hands of hers moved to my hair pulling my head back as her mouth kissed its way to my throat where she began sucking and biting. I wanted to touch more of this tiny female she was soft and responsive. Every touch eliciting a soft moan or sharp intake of breath. I could've gone on kissing her just like that for days. The howling of a forest wolf shook us both from the trance our lips had created.
She looked at me wide eyed, almost afraid and took a stop back. "I'm sorry. We shouldn't have, that cant, it won't happen again." There was resolution in her last four words as if she'd made her mind up for good. I couldn't find a reason to disagree with her either. I didn't make a habit of kissing random females. Especially not such innocent ones.
"...And you should cover that up..." she pointed at my neck where her mouth had been eagerly teasing me just moments ago. I'd do no such thing.
"Those howls were the wolves arriving at the new city. We should go, we still have to convince the others this is a good idea if you agree." She was staring out the window now her back to me. Those wings were truly magnificent, and they only escalated her beauty... I may agree that staying away from her is good... but that didn't mean it was going to be easy. Not many females kissed like her... no female kissed like her. I wasn't going to think too much about that however. That's how a man gets himself into trouble.
"I agree." I walked out the massive doors into the hallway and towards the mighty stairs. I didn't need to see some silly city to believe her. She followed silently.
Frost was at the door waiting for me. He always knew when I was going to need him. He looked at her with skepticism in those blue eyes. Yes he remembered her from the village... but he hadn't heard her enter the castle grounds.
She led the way flying above us. We were heading north, even further from the little village. Had she built her little city on the cliffs... it appeared life was about to become infinitely more interesting.
"Mind telling me exactly where we are going? ... Also, won't bringing me, a stranger, into your city compromise it? Especially if your accomplices do not agree to your plan? I only ask so I might be prepared for any hostility that may arise." Being pessimistic was more a safety precaution for myself and Frost rather than a mindset. She had obviously gone through great pains to keep this city a secret, it seemed entirely reasonable to assume her comrades may see me as a threat if they saw her plan unfit and my presence unrequired.
" The previous entrance will have been sealed for safety by now. We are headed to the cliffs, to Deaths Bed to be exact." Her slight pause hinted that I likely wasn't going to enjoy what she had to say next and the place she spoke of was beyond dangerous.
"There is an entrance open there, down the cliff side approximately half way down. You and..."
"Frost"
"You and Frost will either have to scale the side, and unlikely task for him. OR you can trust me to lift you down."
She was right I didn't like what she said. And neither did Frost he was vigorously shaking his head and snorting. In the distance the howling was growing louder.
"You're a big boy you can handle it." I patted his strong neck.
"It would be well past dark before we even got close to half way down those cliffs. Trusting you seems to be our only option."
She turned curious eyes to me, "You don't question that I could carry such beast that far? Or at all?" she looked almost surprised as if she'd quite often got accused of being inferior.
