Aspen and Jason walk among the dead. The zombies aimless bodies lumber to the next piece of living flesh available. Chewing, crunching and swallowing the lives that once were.
Geeks (Zombies) know nothing, feel nothing though hear and see something. Something that the living wouldn't dream to hear or see through the perspective of the dead. The monsters, roamers, geeks or "zombies" are all the same and everyone is infected.
Aspens aunt Lacey died from cancer but Lacey walked again. Drooling, biting and groaning are just some of her characteristics that came with her resurrection. When Aspen was nine and Jason was eleven they fought for survival for the first time. Defending themselves from what was known to be their aunt Lacey but was truly a life-sucking monster. Aspen ran to shed to retrieve a shovel that Jason would then attack the geek with. Jason knew what he had to do from that moment on. He promised Aspen that as long as he was alive, she would be too.
