Chapter 22~ glad to be back

"Soooo, whatcha doing?" - C.L

KAYLAS POV

It was good to be back in Ethan's arms, I have to admit I missed it so much. Also the feel to be around all my family and Ethan's family and my some of my closest friends. We all eventually let go of the group hug and went inside. "Wait so were you guys watching all that?" I ask everyone but Ethan of course.

"Mmmmm yeah"

"Hey babe follow me" I say to Ethan grabbing his hand and walking out to the backyard. "Meet Ethan" I say pointing to Ethan the horse.

"Wow, you actually kept him" Ethan the human said patting Ethan the horse.

"Yeah. For you" I said leaning in and kissing him. He then decided to get on Ethan the horse. "Common" he said giving me his hand. "He's a pony he won't be able to take the both of us" I laughed. "K then your missing out on a lot" he then cued Ethan the horse to move forward and he did. I was in awe that he was trained.

"Oi Jamie! Tahlz!" he calls for his sisters.
Jamie and Tahlia then come out, both of their jaws drop and then everyone else comes out "what is it Ethan?" Miranda asks. "Omg a pony!" They all come up and pat Ethan. "What's it's name?" Cal asks, I just laugh. Ethan puts his hand under his chin to say *mwah* and everyone gets his message. He then gets off Ethan and we both go inside whilst everyone else pats and plays with Ethan the pony. It was about 10:30 when everyone came inside. It was a late night for us all but a good one. Miranda and James then take Tahlia and Jamie home and Ethan stays at mine. We then go upstairs to my room and fall asleep, back in each others arms.

I wake up with Ethan's arm around my waist. I look at the time and see 12:30PM. Argh. We've missed school. I then slowly get up and go downstairs. I see a note, I pick it up and read it.

Ethan, Kayla & Cal,
Your dad and I have gone to work, you guys can take the day off. No trouble.
Love mumma bear.

P.S Ethan your mum dropped off some clothes, they're on the buffet near the door. Xx

I put the note down, grab Ethan's clothes and go back up to my room and see Ethan's still asleep so I put down his clothes and grab some of my clothes and have a shower.

Once I get out of the shower, I put my high-waisted shorts on, and my santa cruz shirt on and put my lace black cardigan over. I then put my make up on and then go out to see Ethan sitting up on his phone.

"Hello" I say sitting down on my bed, leaning in and pecking him on the lips. He then bends down and picks up a box. "What's with the boxes?" I say taking it off him, smiling. I open it and find rose petals inside. I then see something behind it and take it out, it was three Polaroids of last night. The first one of him singing and the second one of us hugging and the third of us as a group hugging. Although, you couldn't really see faces because we were all hugging. "Aww thank you baby!" I say giving him a hug. "Now go have your shower I'll be downstairs! We get to take the day off" I say grabbing his clothes, passing them to him as getting up and leaving my room.

I go downstairs, put on the TV to the top 40 countdown. I then grab the horse food and feed Ethan. After I feed the pony I go inside and get out a pan, butter and pancake mix. I put the water into the mix and shake it, I then put the butter into the pan and turn the stove on. After I put the pancake mix in I wait and then flip it, I do the same with about 11 other pancakes. I then serve them up with ice cream and chocolate topping and then i divide it up into three, one for me, one for Ethan and one for Cal. I then go upstairs and wake up Cal, we then meet Ethan downstairs and we all eat our brunch.

After, Ethan and I clean up whilst Cal goes back upstairs. I was washing up and Ethan was drying up and putting everything away. We were drowned in an awkward silence, so I decide to live things up a bit. I look at him, but he doesn't look at me, so I get some of the soapy water bubbles and flick it onto his face. "Heyy!" He says picking up some bubbles and putting it through my hair like a crown "Ohhh I'm a princess now am I" I say grabbing some more out of the sink and popping it onto top of his like mine "now your my prince" I say leaning in on him and kissing him.

We then finish up the washing once we wiped our crowns and bubbles off. We both then sit on the couch and watch some TV. We watch about 3 episodes of The Simpsons and by then we're both on our phones. I decide to add something to my story, I take a pic of Ethan sitting in front of me with my legs wrapped around his waist, I then add the caption "glad to be back".
