Chapter 5 The one she loved

Laurence's POV
Huh? Aphmau knows this kid? Didn't she lost her memory or something?

'Aphmau, do you know this little guy?' I asked her as she picked the little boy up.

'Of course I do! Levin is my baby brother. Not to confuse you, I remember some of my family... and I was ment to protect him when Skyflare was set on fire... I'll explain it to you but who brought him here?' Oh, so she definitely is from Skyflare, well she does look a bit like that little kid.

'A group of people, they just gave him to Laurence, told to take good care of him and left... also they left this note to whoever took Levin in...' yep that is how it went Garroth! Totally...well some of it at least.

'Give it...' Aphmau is be determined to protect her little baby brother... I would if I was her. When Garroth handed her the note she moved little Levin onto one hand, the boy started to play around with Aph's hair but she didn't mind, and read out loud

'To Whoever takes care of this baby boy,
Please take extremely good care of Levin as he is an heir to the throne of Skyflare after the disappearance of both of his older sisters Princess Aphasia and his oldest sister Princess Aphmau................................*Aphmau paused for a while and then continued with the note but her voice was shaking* When we finish repairing our city someone will come an get him,
Thank you for caring for our baby boy, King Adam and Queen Serenity of Skyflare.'
Aphmau hugged her little brother and fell on her knees...she's a princess... none of us expected that...but she was shocked the most out of all of us... I can't imagine what she's going through right now

'A-Aphmau, are you alright?' Lady Isabelle tried to calm her down... me and Garroth exchanged looks and nodded

'I-I'm fine... just shaken... sad and... happy... to know that my parents are alright...I think I should go on a walk...I'll leave Levin here, he needs to rest.'

'Alright go, just be careful please.' Lady Isabelle told her. Aphmau just nodded to her gently and left... doesn't she needs guards? She's a princess after all and from a big city...

'Which one of you is free right now?' Lord of Phoenix Drop asked as soon as she knew that Aphmau is far enough.

'I have night duty at the gates and nobody else can take that today...' I said, I hate night shifts! But well Garroth does the time table not me so I can't complain or well... I might say goodbye to my guard armour.

'I had the day shift today, what do you need me to do m'lady' Garroth is some kind of fortune teller I sware...

'Follow Aphmau and make sure she's safe, we have to take care of both her and Little Levin if we don't want war with Skyflare. Also we might get new allies.' Ok I'm having a boring night while Garroth gets to be with Aphmau wow!

'As you please, my lord. I know well that Skyflare is very careful with their children after Princess Aphasia was killed three years ago...' and then both of us left, I headed towards my post and Garroth headed in the direction Aphmau went.

Aphmau's POV
Now I remember my family but that is all for now. Once I saw my baby brother Levin ,who I was ment to protect, my life just got a little bit happier... but when I saw the note... the feelings in my head were just undescribable. I was glad, happy, frightened and sad at the same time... I wanted to walk so I can calm down before I tell them all I know so far... but I knew I wasn't alone. It was one of the skills I learned as a Princess, lady Isabelle really doesn't want me hurt because if something happens to me here... my father would go crazy like with O'Khasis when my sister died...

'Garroth, I know you're there. It's fine you can come out'

'Heh? How did you know that it was me?' Hehe only princesses know that kind of stuff and I won't reveal our secret to any guard... especially from O'Khasis...

'It's a Princess thing, and I'm not allowed to give a guard any info about it' I giggled and he sat down next to me... I was wondering, what does he look like without that helmet... and I realised that I was blushing so I hid in my black hair.

'Heh, I can see that you're blushing Aph, anyway what would you say if I wasn't just an ordanary guard?' Aph? Nobody called me that in ages... well...

' are you an unordanary guard? Or rather, were you raised to be a guard?' Ohh now I will play this game with him untill he tells me who he is hihihi.

'Well since you're a princess and you look familiar... I will tell you who I am but you have to keep it a secret...'oh that went a lot faster than expected

'Promise' as I said that word he took his helmet of and I knew straight away who he was... my eyes began to tear up...

'Garroth...AAAHHHHH' pain... my right arm was filled with pain... I got shot with an arrow...

'APHMAU!'I heard Garroth scream my name and then he rushed off after the one that shot me... After a few minutes... I lost so much blood that I blacked out...

Yes a long one, is because it's super close to Christmas! YEY! So Today, hopefully Thursday and Friday I will release a new chapter as my Xmas gift for you all, my readers! Then I don't know anything about the release of chapter 9 because who knows what I will be doing then!
