We danced, you sang, I watched and laughed.
They all aplauded for us until we sat.
Stools at a bar are ever so high,
But we never fall or waved or tipped or sighed.
I read a poem out loud,
You smiled and laughed so proud.
The Night was perfect,
you walked me home in the rain.
We kissed as we said goodnight,
I swore I'd see you once again.
