Kaye's POV

My name is Kaye Iwasaki. I'm eighteen and I like Arts, Music, Science, and literature.
I was just in my room finishing an experiment with my best friend, Lucas Fujita. We've known each other ever since we were kids. I was trying to create an invisibility potion in a beaker so I can get higher grades in science. I finished it in about 5 straight hours.

"Phew! I think it's done. All i need to do is to test it.", I told Lucas.

"Wow! You're really smart, Kaye.", he responded.

"Thanks!", I smiled.

"Y'know what? Lemme fetch some snacks. I'm starting to get hungry.", he stood up from his chair

"Sure.", I answered.

I grabbed the invisibility potion then headed to the shelf beside the door. I was gonna put the beaker in the shelf but...

"I'm ba--", Lucas just opened the door which made my beaker spill on him

"My potion!", I panicked.

"O-oh. I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to break your bea--"

"N-no it's okay. I'll just--" before I knew it his hands start to disappear. "Lucas. Your hands!"

"What?", he looked at his hands and laughed. "Hahahahaha!!! Look! Your experiment worked!"

"Seriously!? You're not even scared!?"

"Nah. This IS temporary. Right?", he asked. His whole arm started to disappear.

"I'm not quite sure though. I haven't even created a cure yet."

"B-but, this won't be forever right?", he asked?

"I'll make an antidote. So don't worry."

Lucas' POV

"I'll make an antidote. So don't worry.", she went to her table and started making the antidote. "I think it'll take a long time creating this antidote."

"It's okay. I guess I'll be waiting now." I said then smiled. Before I knew it, my whole body can't be seen.

"Hey Lucas wanna take a break and-- Lucas? Where are you?", she turned around.

"I'm still here in the same spot. I think the potion took full effect on my body. My clothes even turned invisible too."

"Really? Hold my hand. You can see me but I can't see you." I held her hand and went back beside her. "Now don't go anywhere unless I do."

"Okay." I responded.

After 2 hours, the antidote was finished.

"That was quick! You just finished it in two hours.", I said

"Now all it needs is physical contact with your skin."

"Sure." I grabbed the antidote and just poured it on my arm but nothing happened. "It didn't work."
