So this is yet another idea I had for the first book of my The Shadow's Melody series. I had thought to end the first book with this ending and, again, changed my mind. But, after thinking about it during a long drive to work, I realized I could change the idea a little and make it into a one shot instead of an entire book! And here is the final result!
