Before we begin, let me, the author, tell about Oracles, the spirits in which this book focuses on.
No, they aren't like the Witches of Aztessia, as they aren't simply just humans with magical blood. They aren't human. They are the spirits in which the prophecy is embedded upon. They speak the voice of God, the voice of the unseen spirits. They rule they centuries-old country of Chroma.
When Oracles are born, the Oracle that has reproduced them would have fell in love with a human. The new Oracle, when it reaches exactly the age of 10, has a stone pressed into them. This stone tells of the way they think. Let's take Empress Sonika the ruler of Amaryllis that came before Len, has an example. She had a stone pressed into her back, signifying wings. This means she had courage and moved how she wanted to.
The Archive, a building that is most important in "Night Witch" is like a museum. There, the stones of retired (or to put it simply, dead) Oracles are put on display. The Archive is a place that showcases history and the past of the Oracle history.
Every week, also, the Oracles will meet together at a building in exactly the middle of Chroma. There, new laws are discussed and, when that is over, the Oracles will visit and play games. Most of the time, it's a social hour, even though they're supposed be talking about the betterment of the society they run.
That is the only thing I'll need to really describe to everyone. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this fan fiction and decide to continue reading even all of the other chapters. I have put days, more like months, on this AU, and I hope that that is reflected by the quality of this series.
