"All we can say is that she will find a happy ending in the other world," the Preacher said as he closed his book and put his hands together.
Kutzu and Namie along with two other people nodded wiping tears away from their eyes. The snow drifted slowly onto the coffin in the middle of the garden.
There were only two other people at this ceremony. Ai and a man. The man had grey hair and square glasses with a knobby nose. He work a straight suit and a business hat.
Namie realised that that was her father. She could barely move her arms went numb.
After the service, Kutzu started to go back home leaving Namie to stay and pray for her mother. The man walked beside Namie and stood in back.
He stood there silently and then said, "It took you long enough."
Namie turned her head and stared teary eyed at the man. Her father.
Old.
Fragile.
Understanding.
"Father?" Namie said.
The man leaned over and hugged Namie.
For eternity.
For love.
For laughs.
