Some people are going to hate this but I want to share the way I met and how i came to dating the guy I want to be with forever.
It was just a normal history lesson I was sitting with my best friend and two other guy friends. It was the end of the lesson and the teacher came up to my friend mike with a new guy and said "This is Nate you are in Ag next right so can you take Nate with you and show him around a bit". As soon as the teacher left them together I jump to Nate's other side and said "hi I'm rose and I am going to be your friend, oh and I have Ag next two" so I walked with them to Ag talking with mike more then Nate I just didn't really know what to say to him. I think I was starting to really annoy Nate so I left them alone for a little bit.
At this point in time I was dating some other guy and we broke up and then got back together a month and a bit later( but never mind about him).
Ok so skip forward because I met him in first term and now it was around the start of third term and I was dating that other guy but anyway back to the story.
I was in maths, Nate was in my maths class and one day a paper ball hit me so turn to see who had thrown it and there is Nate just looking at me and laughing. Without knowing what I was getting myself into I pick up the paper ball and throw it back (I hit him) but then another one hit me, this time it wasn't Nate it was Dean and that is when I found out I had just put myself in the middle of an all out paper ball war. So we had been having this paper ball war for about two weeks and I think we had use at least one whole book of paper and we were becoming pretty good friends.
Nate would always talk about his kayaking trips and show me pictures of sunsets on the lake that he had taken and I thought it was so cool and that I would kill to go kayaking. It was only one week later that the guy I was dating dumped me and I was really upset about it so to try and cheer me up Nate invited me to go on a kayaking trip with him on the weekend because the guy dumped me on Thursday so I said yes. On the kayaking trip we talked for hours and I had so much fun and was so happy, we were kayaking for 4 and a half hours. After that we hang around each other at school more, talking and having so much fun. People were starting to talk saying that we were dating but we were just friends and both of us were telling people it was not true because it was not true at this point ( but secretly we both liked each other and did know it) it had been almost two weeks since the kayaking trip and I asked him to come to roller skating with me and a couple other people, it was about one hour into the two and a half hours that roller skating goes for, and I sat next to Nate on the steps that are there for you to sit on and I turned to him my heart beating out of control fluttering as fast as butterfly wings and asked "will you go out with me" he was so shocked it took him about 30 seconds to answer ( I swear to god the longest 30 seconds of my life it felt like forever) and he said " yes" so I kissed him on the cheek and jumped off the step ( in roller blades), he smile for a second then he realised what I did because that night I was wearing bright red lipstick and he had a very bright lipstick mark on his cheek, I just laughed and smiled at him. We have been dating for 1 month yesterday on the 29 of June 2013.
And that is how a got to being the happiest I have ever been, and baby if you are reading this I love you so much oxoxox
