He released a sigh and bent down to his knees,

to see his little princess in the eye,

she stood straight having a heart of a soldier,

gathered courage to say goodbye.

'The enemies are whistling for war',

said he,that he had to leave,

'and when we win,I promise to return,

will you be waiting for me?'

And as months passed,her mother said,

she looked lot like her father.

She wished and prayed and hoped he'd come soon,

so they could be together.

She waited at the door,when the enemies lost,

time passed and she lost her track.

With a heart of a soldier,she kept waiting,

as he'd promised he'd come back.
