One Moment Can Change Your Life Forever

The day we walked into the office and she turned around and smiled at us my heart skipped a beat and I could feel myself turn red when she made eye contact with me. Up till that day I never really believed in love at first sight but you see that's just the thing about her, every expectation, thought, and belief you have she can change with just one look. I know it sounds cheesy but it's the little things she did the day I met her that I knew she was the one I wanted to be with, the passion in her eyes she got every time she spoke about her job, the way she pushed her hair behind her ear, how she bantered with Simon, the smirk she got after knowing she out did him, and of course the laugh that could cheer up your day no matter what. Once she told us that we would be working together that week she took the 5 of us out to lunch to get to know us and not just because she had to but because she actually cared to get to know us as people and be our friend. The rest of the day we were around her I couldn't really speak in front of her and definitely not to her because I was so nervous that all I would do is curse and make a fool of myself. After getting back to the studio after lunch all the guys teased me because they knew I had a crush on her. Each day she spent one on one time to get to know all of us as individuals to ensure our performance brought out the best of us that Saturday. The second day it was Louis' day with her and in the car on the way to rehearse he sat in the back and brought her up in conversation.

"So Niall i have noticed how awkward you are around her." He smiled at me

"Who what are you talking about?" I asked feeling myself turn red.

"You know who I mean. You have a crush on Rachel don't you?

"Ummm... honestly yea. There is just something that I can't help but be intrigued by." I whispered so the other guys wouldn't hear

"I thought so because I have never seen you this quite before and it worried me at first then I saw how you looked at her yesterday. Why don't you just talk to her mate?"

"I wish it was that easy but she makes me nervous and sweaty. And what would I even say to someone like her?"

"She will surprise you when you get the nerve. Today is my day with her I will put in a good word." He winked

"You really don't have to Lou I will eventually think of something to say."

"Good because I could totally see you two together." He smiled

When we walked into the studio she was there waiting for us with that smile on her face that just made you melt. That day I felt more nervous than usual because I knew Louis knew and I was scared he would say something in front of everybody but surprisingly he barely talked. That day he had his own time with her and when he came back to the house that night after their dinner he just patted me on the back and smiled not saying a word the rest of the night. The next morning Rachel picked us up in her own car and all the guys raced to sit in the back forcing me to sit in the front with her.

"Well hello Niall." She smiled as I opened the passengers door.

"Hey." I said quietly and took my seat hearing all the guys giggle in the back.

"I think that is the most I have heard you say to me since we met."

"Sorry?" Was that seriously all I could think to say?

"Don't be sorry I get that you're nervous about the show this weekend it happens but don't worry you are going to do great." She smiled over at me with a twinkle in her eye.

"Thanks that means a lot coming from you." I responded trying to not look her in the eyes cause I knew what would happen if I did.

"Hey anytime that's what i'm here for, the support." She said putting her hand on my arm

 When that happened I heard the guys gasp in the back seat and that's when it happened. I looked up into her eyes and the whole world stopped, everything around me went silent, and chills were sent through my body as I finally smiled back up at her. After that moment something in me clicked and I was back to my old self joking, laughing, and having a good time. That Friday I was woken up to Louis shaking me telling me to get up cause it was finally my time. It took a second to get what he was saying and when it set in I shot straight up and hoped in the shower to get ready. When I got downstairs there she was in the kitchen laughing with Mary, Louis, and Liam and I couldn't help but smile to myself seeing her there looking so happy it made my heart race.

"Niall!" she yelled and came over to hug me and I squeezed her back taking in the smell of her long wavy brown hair honey and vanilla to be exact

"I hope you are ready for today because its going to be awesome." She pulled out of the hug smiling at me.

"Oh he's ready." Louis said from across the room making everyone laugh.

That morning she took me to breakfast at a little diner she knew about then we went to the studio to work out our performance on the stage.
