Chapter One

Lux's POV

Hi my name is Lux. I used to live with my mother until she passed away. Now I live with my father and my ten year old sister Becky. My sister is exactly like our mum. Both of them are human, but dad and I are both Werewolves. My dad is the alpha King of the largest and most powerful pack in the whole world. His wolf is black and my wolf is pure white with a black ear. Other than being the werewolf princess, i am your average 19 year old high schooler. I attended a school with both humans and werewolves. Only three people at the school know I am the werewolf princess. My sister and my two best friends Jazz and Kylie.

I groan rolling over and turning off my alarm. Slowly making my way out of bed. I grab a pair of ripped skinny jeans and my favourite purple long sleeved top. I grab everything else that I need and head for the shower. Quickly washing my pitch black hair I step out and dry off. Bringing my hair to the side after brushing it I leave it out to cover half my face. Walking down two flights of stairs I walk into the kitchen. My father hands me a plate full of eggs and bacon. I quickly Eat and put my plate in the sink. "Is Beck coming to school today?" I ask my father as he sits down at the table. "No she was sick all night. You should head off. I don't want you to be late." "Ok. See you tonight." I say as I grab my bag and jump into my Lamborghini and drive to school.

Pulling up in the parking lot. I turn the car off and step out. Once again everyone stops what they are doing and look at me. Their eyes flick between me and my car. It was as if they were trying to figure out who I was. Once again I breath a sigh relief when Jazz and Kylie wok over to me making everyday go back to whatever they were doing. Walking into maths, we take our seats at the back of the class. After about two minuets the class room was filled with students. Everyone takes their seAts and waits for Mr Reed. After 10 minuets of waiting and announcement comes over the loud speaker. "Could I please have all werewolves gather on the oval please."

After we have gathered on the oval I take a look around and notice how many werewolves actually attended River Bark High. "Do any of you know what is going on?" I ask Jazz and Kylie. "No. I have no idea Lux." They both say at the same time and I sigh wondering what could have all werewolves at the same place.

"Attention please." I hear principal Rain say trying to get everyone's attention. After a while everyone quickly shuts up and listens to Principal Rain. "Thank you all for coming. I can tell you are all wondering why you are her. The White Moon Pack was attacked last night." Everyone gasps and starts to murmur to one another. "QUIET!" Vice Principal Crouch yells.

I loo aver at Jazz who is slowly her head to look at the principals. I hear gasps sound around me. Lifting my head I freeze when my eyes meet the most beautiful brown eyes. Hi brown hair combed nicely to the side. He is wearing a grey v-neck top with a black button up jacket. He has a pair of black jeans with black shoes. Snapping back to reality when I hear my wolf say one word. 'Mate.' My eyes widen as I relive my mate is Vampire King Jason. Taking a step back, I see Jazz look over at me with a confused look on her face. Reality hits her and she yelps. Jason starts to make his way off the stage. Opening his mouth I see his four fangs shining in the sunlight. "Go ahead little mate. Run. I will catch you." She says making everyone look at me. "Count Jason are you sure she is you mate?" Turning around he sneers at whoever it was. Taking this as an opportunity I turn around, shifting and sprint off towards the woods.
