Chapter 10
It was been a week since my birthday, and today me and Joe are going to the clinic to see our baby for the first time. "Joe you ready?" I shouted down the stairs. I am now 17 weeks pregnant I should have been going in 2-3 weeks but we are at Vidcon so got it early then will be back at 22-23 weeks.
"Yeah babe I am coming just putting my shoes on" Joe shouted back up the stairs. Soon I heard him running up the stairs so I grabbed my handbag and asked "who's car?"
"Mine you are not driving, hell no" he said back I just shock my head and laughed at him.
At the clinic
"You nervous?" joe asked sat next to me holding my hand.
I didn't have time to answer because I heard "Miss Young?" I stood up with Joe still attached to my hand.
We walked into the room and I lay down on the table "right Miss Young you are 17 weeks is that right?" I nodded "Right can I asked the name of the father" I just looked at Joe and didn't know what to say.
"The biological or adopted?" I asked and she gave me a funny look. "Well the biological father doesn't want anything to do with the baby so Joe here... my boyfriend... has said that he will adopt it as his" she then nodded her head.
"So one night stand?" she asked with a grin and I just nodded "Right that's fine so Joe what's you full name?"
"Joe Sugg" he said.
"Right well we will get on with the scan" she said and asked me to pull me top up and she put the cold gel on it. She moved the wand around and Joe grabbed my hand, the heartbeat suddenly filled the room and the baby came onto the screen. I burst into tears right there and then, the nurse looked at us both and smiled then said "I will leave you two for a minute" and she got up and left "I will get you some pictures".
The room was filled with the babies heartbeat and me crying and then looked over to Joe and he was the same, in tears. "I love you" he blurted out then covered him mouth... this caused me to cry even more "im sorry I... oh stuff it... Megan Young I love you, I have for weeks and weeks now" I got up off the table and jumped into his arms "I love you too Joe". At this point the nurse walked back in and handed us the photos, we said our thank yous and went home.
At home we sat in the sofa watching the TV when there was a knock on the door, I got up walked over to the door so reveal Zalfie stood there "well come on, how was the scan" Zoe asked coming into the flat.
"Well lets just say Joe cried and told me he loved me" I said sitting back down where I was before hand.
"Awww mate, u cutie, you told her finally" Alfie said to him hitting him playfully in the arm.
"Wait finally? What you mean?" I asked.
"Mate he has loved you since he like met you" Alfie said to me and all I could do was kiss Joe.
For the rest of the night we had a bit of a couples date night in front of the TV watching cute film. Zoe and Alfie left at about 11 and drove home, to my surprise I stayed awake the whole night but now I was very tired so decided to go to bed, Joe came with me but stayed up to edit for a while.
"Babe when are we going to tell the viewers coz I hate to tell you this but you are getting bigger and more visible" he said rubbing my bump as I looked through twitter.
"God your right! Should we do it once I have come back from shopping tomorrow with Zoe?" I asked.
"Yeah what we going to say everything?" he asked.
"If you are comfortable saying about the relationship" I asked him and he nodded and kissed my forehead
I fell sleep on Joe's chest that night and slept like a baby.
