Izuka stood in a field just outside the small town facing Sasuke while Juugo, Karin, and Suigetsu stood on the sidelines.

"To make this fair do you want to restrict anything?" She asked.

"No."

"Hm okay then, as you wish." She shrugged.

"I can beat you," he said confidently.

"Well I hope so, I want a challenge."

"I've been waiting for this day for a long time."

"I feel honored, now let's begin."

Sasuke was the first to move. He quickly got behind Izuka attempting to stab her but she jumped in the air and threw kunai at him which he deflected.

"You've gotten faster." Izuka commented as she landed.

Sasuke smirked as his hand lit up and used chidori stream. As it got closer to Izuka she stood there unmoving. Just when the lightning was about to hit her, she put out her hand which was covered with lightning. When they collided, Izuka struggled to keep Sasuke's back for she underestimated his jutsu. Sasuke pushed on which made Izuka slide back. She added more chakra cancelling both attacks.

"I see you developed chidori. Impressive; Orochimaru taught you well."

Then, Sasuke got in front of her then disappeared making her spin around but in an instant a sword went through her.

"You let your guard down." Sasuke smirked.

"Nope,"

Izuka then disappeared turning into a log. Sasuke jumped back looking around for Izuka. There wasn't any place for her to hide in an open field so he assumed that she was under him. Just as he was about to send his lightning underground, something caught his eye. He took a kunai and threw it in the air aiming it at a bird. The kunai grazed the bird's wing then there was a cloud of smoke.

Izuka landed on the ground holding her arm.

"Smart as ever Sasuke; saw right through my disguise."

"You can't fool me."

"Only because you have your Sharingan activated."

"Hmph,"

Sasuke started to make hand signs which Izuka recognized and did the same.

"Fire style: First ball jutsu!" They both shouted.

Fire came out of their months colliding with each other. Izuka's pushed Sasuke's back towards him and hit him.

"Sasuke!" Karin shouted.

When the smoke cleared, Sasuke was nowhere to be seen. Izuka drew her sword and blocked Sasuke's blade from penetrating her.

"Nice try," She said.

"How are you always two steps ahead?"

"I expected everything." She said with a smile.

Sasuke growled in response and withdrew his sword from hers and stepped back.

"You're not even trying."

"Neither are you. If you were trying then you would've used a forbidden jutsu on me or used your curse mark. I can tell that you're holding back immensely. Save your energy for the Akatsuki. Meet me back inside so I can talk to you."
