Prologue

Blue's P.O.V.

My name is Blue Ernest.

I have raven black hair with purple tips. Im mixed with part mexican and part african. I have silver sparkling eyes that mostly strike people to look at me odd. To tell you the truth I was an odd girl.

I'm an orphan who is in college and I am 18 and graduated when I was 17.

My mothers best friend, Kandy, took care of me ever since I was 6. She suffered from having lung cancer and passed away a few months ago and she left me her house in her will since she was never married and I was the only kid she took care of.

I got a part time job to pay for the house that Kandy owned, it was only to pay for the water and electricity.

I have two jobs one is at the museum as a security guard and the other is at a bookstore.

I never had friends and I always kept to myself. I wasn't bullied but sometimes was picked on.

Kandy was like my second mother and would always cheer me up if I was down which was all the time but since she left me I've realized she was the only friend I ever had.
