I woke up to see Delilah, the love of my life, strapped to a chair on the opposite side of a dull candle. She was naked, bloody, and crying for mercy. She was begging me to help her. I went to stand up, but for some reason I couldn't move. I looked down to see what was stopping me. A shot of pain ran up my leg and through my body. My feet had been stapled to the ground. Blood was the first thing I saw, as it was running down the wooden floor. My legs were black and swollen.

At that moment I didn't know what to do. I then tried moving my wrists but, they were tied down with leather belts. The leather had been rubbing on my wrists so much that I had blisters that were bleeding. It didn't help that the wooden chair I was strapped in would give me splinters every time I would move. I was in pain and wanted to scream. Instead, I silently glanced up to Delilah and shrugged. I had no idea what to do. I then heard a man's voice come from the other room. "I think they're awake." I looked up at Delilah and mouthed for her to act asleep. I heard loud footsteps echoing off the cemented walls, coming closer and closer into the room we were in. I looked around. There were no windows, no sunlight, and no way out. An extremely bright light shot on and blinded me. As quickly as I could I dropped my head, and acted asleep. In my mind I kept hoping to wake up and for all of this to be a dream. But, the man's voice just kept bringing me back to reality. I was really strapped to a chair, and my girlfriend was really naked. I kept having thoughts in my head like what did they do to her, and why is she naked. I was furious at that moment. My head was so hot it felt as if I had steam coming out of my ears. The man's footsteps came louder as he got closer to me. As soon as I could feel him hovering over me, I swung my head forward, hoping to head-butt him. I had missed, he was further than what I thought. Once I noticed that, fear ran though my body. My heart felt as if it were going to pop out of my chest. He for sure knows I am awake now I thought to myself. The man laughed as if he was playing a game. "The game of our lives."
