(SPECIAL) Lovely Obsession

Welcome! I've got news.

Hello, hello! As I promised a month back, I am posting an entirely new work that contain special chapters of the Lovely Obsession story. It's a great thank you gift to all of you excellent readers, voters, and commenters! Each small notification I get make my entire day, and I am eternally grateful to have such great readers.

These chapters will just be small little backstories, trivia, and other memories of the characters that didn't fit in the final draft of the story. Each one will have a little drawn image by me (Yes, I plan on placing one here when I have time, including cover changes!).

There's never too much to fit into this! I'd VERY GLADLY take up suggestions for any special snippets to write. Whether it's just a few keywords, questions, or a straight out suggestion/request, I'll be very happy to take them!

I would like to fit in other point of views into here (particularly Lauren (Blake's aunt), for she is a very important part of the story, but due to the time of the present plot, wasn't involved in), but I felt I should save that for a more special occasion.

Also, things that happened between the last chapter and the epilogue. Again, I do wish GREATLY to write those many snippets, but let's save it for that said special occasion.

Speaking of that special occasion....

For the past year (though it particularly sparked up in the last few months), I've gotten a lot of messages concerning a sequel. 

Let me be honest for a second here.

When I finished the story back in 2013 (it was originally my first NaNoWriMo, and I went through many months through editing and revising), a follow up was in my mind. It was widely available due to Blake's survival and Sophie's visits. I kept thinking of this possible follow up until I had the entire thing planned out in my head.

Still, I kept juggling back and forth with the questions: "Should I write it?" to "Should I share it?" I never expected to come up with an answer, which is the main reason why I left the ending ambiguous (as to where Sophie's visits would lead to). 

So, as expected, I was quite taken back when I was asked about a sequel. And again. And again. And again. Soon, it became natural to receive comments and messages as to recommending it, pleading for it, questioning it, all of it . 

There are now some nights and drives where I can't get my mind off the idea, though still battling if I should go through with it at all. Then, I keep taking out my phone to look at all of those comments and messages. Cue the crazy questions in my mind!

I don't want to drag all of those characters out of their rest and put them through more stuff, my gosh. They need to rest.

. . . 

Two years is enough to rest, right?

I think it's time that it all wakes up.

It hasn't gotten a good enough conclusion.

Well, today, just this morning on a crazy whim, actually, I have made my decision.

A sequel will be coming out.

Yes, that's right! You can all thank all of those commenters and messagers who kept telling me about the ideas.

Next year, for the 2016 NaNoWriMo, I will begin writing the final, full conclusion - the sequel to Lovely Obsession.

Once it's revised and edited by June (a rough estimate), I will begin to post it.

So, this is just something to keep all of us busy.

I'll begin to finish up the dozens of special chapters I have in my folders, and also writing out plot points for the next story. Until then, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year! Love all of you. <3
