Araneae. A great big city with the biggest reputation. This city has it all. Great jobs, one of the biggest insect communities of all time, and the cleanest and healthiest bugs you will ever see. The views from over the city at night takes the cake. All the beautiful lights and colors from houses and villages make is an arousing sight. But with all these great things, there are some things that are not great at all. That thing is a humble, homeless little jumping spider named Larry.
While all the other bugs and insects have a house, a family, and job; Larry the jumping spider has none of that. He was left by his family as a child, and now lives in the streets of his fellow bug community alone. He was always a loner. He has no one who would help him. All it has ever been for him is himself and himself only. One of his biggest and most sad secrets he has is that he is the only jumping spider in the world who cannot jump. He doesn't even bother to call himself a jumping spider. The way he would entertain and distract himself would be to stand in front of the news television station and watch from the inside, gathering all the news and info he needs. The way he gets his food? He scavenges around dumpsters and usually eats like a king. Three meals a day, no problem. Why should he need anyone?
The next day, Larry decides to go back to the news station to see if there's anything important he should know. Sure enough, there is. There is a big storm coming later that night. Sure he survived many storms in his life, but this one could be the worst storm that the city has ever endured. There is said to be hail, possible tornado's, and server flooding. It is unlike anything anyone will ever see. Larry doesn't know what to do and has nowhere to go.
"Maybe I can just do something illegal and get arrested... At least I'll be in a strong shelter..." He says to himself, fearing that the storm may kill him otherwise. Larry takes this into deep consideration. He tries to think of other ways around it, when he thinks of something that could save him. He must be arrested. That way he gets fed, and gets to sleep without being on high guard. Something he has not had in a long time.
"It's the perfect plan!" He says to himself. So he goes by the dumpster and finds some old paper, and starts to plot a way to get caught and turned into the authorities. He plans to rob a bank. He will enter the bank with no mask, and he will threaten a banker. As much as he doesn't want to do that, and how terrible he may feel, he must do it in order to survive the storm. It's the only way.
