Christmas Sleepover

Your P.O.V

        I plop down on the couch in the lounge of my small apartment and sulk. I have so many stressful things to do right now and I'm on the verge of a breakdown. It was Christmas Eve and I'd barely gotten anyone presents and almost all of the stores were closed. And it didn't help my family was so far away in America and I would stay home alone on Christmas. I guess I'll film a video or 2 for YouTube and watch Dr. Who in my pjs while sipping tea. I'm slowly drifting off to sleep when im abruptly awakened by my phone going off, only to realize it was my good friend Dan. This excited me since I'd always felt really close with Dan and had admired him for the longest time. I pick up the phone, eager to hear his husky voice when he says " Hey, y/n! Phil is gone away to his family's home for Christmas and I was wondering if you'd want to spend the night over at my place tonight?" You were ecstatic because this means you won't be alone plus you'd wake up next to Dan. "Yeah I'll be over in about 20 minutes I can't wait to see you again" After I said that I could practically hear the joy in his voice and we both bid goodbye before I got packed.

Dans P.O.V

            Yes! I'm so excited to have y/n over for Christmas! God I just want to hug her, and make her smile. I just want to be the reason why she gets up in the morning and to make her happy. She's been so stressed lately and it hurts me to see her like this. So miserable. I can't stand it. Phil and I have mostly set up our decorations except we need to decorate the tree, put up a wreath, and of course our squareflakes! Oh, how could I forget the mistletoe! I'm thinking she could help me set it up by the door so when she leaves I'll have a chance to kiss her. Wait, Dan, wait. Did you really just say you want to kiss her? Of course I did, I mean she's absolutely perfect in every way. What am I even thinking right now? I can't fall for my best friend! I can't bear losing her! Plus she would never love a geek like me. We're just friends and that's how it's going to be. But maybe, just maybe I could kiss her tomorrow. Just maybe... I'm suddenly pulled out of my trance by a doorbell and quickly answer it since I miss her so much. "Hey Dan! How are you, I've missed you so much!" She says as we lean in for a hug. I just want to keep her like this and make her feel safe in my arms forever. "I'm so much better now since I'm with you, I've missed you so much more" I say, being slightly muffled by her shoulder. She hugs me a bit harder, and I'm hoping we'll never let go. We eventually pull away and I'm greeted by her stunning eyes. I suddenly feel my heart racing and quickly ask if she wants to help me finish decorating the flat, which she says yes. Suddenly j feel my stomach growling and decide to make cookies and hot drinks before we decorate. "Let's do this shit"
She says while walking over to the kitchen. Yup, she's definitely my type of girl. We get all of our ingredients mixed and pop it in the oven before doing a very strange interlude while mocking his newly developed fear of whisks. We look down on our clothes to realize we've completely destroyed our clothes and got batter on our faces. "Y/n you've got batter on your chin!" I tease. I wipe my hand across her chin and I can't help but get lost in her eyes. We both start to lean in but right before anything happens the timer goes off. Of course. By now we're both madly blushing and decide to decorate the cookies. After we finished we put them on a plate and carry them with our drinks to the lounge. "Alright so we've managed to put up the tree, we must
decorate it. How about I get the decorations out while you change." I tell her before giving her a festive jumper and some sweat pants to wear. She thanks me and walks away towards the bathroom and I just stand by and watch her go until she's completely out of my sight. I look over the decorations we have: squareflakes, tinsel, and of corse the star. She comes out and immediately starts giggling a bit. It takes me a moment to realize that the clothes I gave her aren't quite her size and we now hanging off of her body. "Aw, y/n! You look adorable!" I gawk. She looks absolutely hilarious and we both laugh for a bit longer before we set up the tree. I tell her to climb on my back so she can put the star on the tree, since neither of us could reach. "I feel so powerful, it's like I'm climbing a mountain. I HAVE CONQUERED MOUNT DAN. I HAVE ALL POWER" she yelled, making me laugh uncontrollably. When I set her down I get out the squareflakes and look over to see her collapsed on the couch laughing. "Y-you and Phil r-really weren't kidding weren't you?" She managed to say. I help her up and our eyes lock together like magnets. "Dan, you've still got flour in your hair!" She says before moving the fringe out of my face. "And you've still got batter on your lip, darling" I say before brushing my finger across her lip. "I love it when you call me darling" she whispers, sending shivers down my spine. I lose all sense of control and wrap the tinsel I had in hand around her back before pulling her in. I lay my lips upon hers and bring her closer while she runs a hand through my hair. This is all I've wanted for forever. Just to have her in my arms and to hold and kiss her.

we pull away and I see her gorgeous smile and her cheeks have turned a slight pink. "Dan?" She asks me. By the look in her eyes I have a feeling of what she might say. "Yes?" I reply. My heart racing faster than it ever had before and our faces are centimeters apart. M"I-i love you Dan. I always have ever since the very first moment I saw you years ago, and I can't get you out of my head. I'm completely crazy for you, Dan" she said and now I could feel her heart racing. "Y/n... I can't put into words how much I've wanted to hear that. How long I've wanted to tell you but have been to afraid of losing you. I've always dreamt and imagined you saying that. You're the reason why I'm up late at night. My mind is racing with constant thoughts of you. I've always imagined holding and kissing you, but it's definitely better than I imagined. Y/n I'm completely in love with you" I spill. My mind in a rush to tell her how I feel. I suddenly feel her lips on mine again, but this time a bit more demanding. Almost like she wants something. I kiss back harder and wrap my arms around her waist and pull her even closer. As the kiss is getting more and more heated, I'm getting more into it. I eventually manage to pull apart before whispering "bedroom, now" into her ear. She has a slight smirk on her face so I pick her up and carry her to my room before laying her down on the bed. Folks I think you can figure out what happened next😏
