One nigh at the Phantomhive estate, a letter was dropped at the front of the main door. Before the mysterious person left who was delivering the letter to the estate, it ran the door bell to make sure they noticed the letter. Then the mysterious person ran off into the dark and gloomy woods, and wasn't seen again. After a couple of minutes, Sebastian opened the door, grabbed the letter, and then closed the door again. The front the of the letter said, To Ciel Phantomhive. Sebastian was going to open the letter and read it but thought it would be better for his master to read it first. So then Sebastian went to take the letter to Ciel, just as the mysterious person thought he would.
