My weekend

"There she was just walking down the street,

My name is Nico and my best friend is named Owen. It was a nice and sunny evening. We just got out of class to go to lunch and we were outside sitting on the tables when out of nowhere she walked in my view. The wind was blowing through her straight blonde hair softly as a feather. Her hazel eyes sparkled like the stars at night. The sun-rays hitting her flawless skin while she made her way to her friends. Her name was Annabel. She is a girl that is not easy to put into words, and in a good way! Her and I never really talked and when we did, it was during class when she wanted the answers to the quizzes or something.

"Go talk to her" said Owen.

"I can't. I'm too chicken. Plus, she has a boyfriend." I replied.

"No she doesn't. You really think that weird kid that gives her gum everyday is her boyfriend?" Said Owen.

"Yeah. Why else would she hug him all the time?"

"Alright," Owen said annoyed "get your ass up and get over there and ask her out to my birthday party tomorrow."

"Fine." I said hesitantly "But do you really think she'll accept an invitation to a lame ass party at your crappy place?" I said jokingly.

"Ha ha real funny" Owen said sarcastically "Just get your ass over there and ask her already.

"Fine" I replied

And just like that, I was making my way over to her. My palms were sweaty as hell and I was shaking with butterflies in my stomach. 

"I can do this. I can do this." I kept telling myself.

I almost fainted when she turned around early and said, "Hey Nico, how are you?"

"Holy crap" I thought to myself.

"I have something to ask you. You can say no, you don't have to accept. I know you're probably busy--"

"What is it Nico?" She interrupted.

"Owen is having a birthday party at his place tomorrow and was wondering if you'd like to go with me to his party. Like I said, you ca--"

"Of course I'll go with you!" she said smiling.

"Holy crap!" I thought to myself.

"Awesome, I'll pick you up around 4. That ok?"

"Yes!" she replied.

"Awesome! Great..I'll see you there then!" I said

"Ok" she replied

The bell rang and she made her way back to class. I started making my way back to Owen with a huge grin on my face as if I just won the damn winning lottery ticket. Owen was watching the whole interaction and for some reason still asked, "How did it go!?" 

"She said yes, bro." I replied

"All I have to do is borrow my brother's graduation tux and pick her up at 4 from her place."

"Awesome! Just one problem..." he said

"What?" I asked worryingly 

"The party doesn't start till 5..."

"What?" 

"It's alright though, just text or call her and tell her the time was changed." He tells me

"Damn.." I said nervously

"What?" Owen asked

"I don't have her number.." I told Owen
