The Words that Remain Unspoken

Chapter 1

Derek's POV -

Back in beacon hill, great. I thought I was done with this place, it's been 6 years since I've stepped foot in this bullshit town. Too many bad memories, too much pain and suffering. I came back to find my sister Laura, she went missing a couple weeks ago, she's all I have left after the fire. So here I am, back in the miserable place looking for her. I really hate this place but something feels different about it, I don't know what yet but I'll figure it out.

It's been 2 days since I've been back and I've found out that two people found half a body in the woods near my place, so I decided to go out and look for the other half to see if it was Laura, I'd already lost hope of her still being alive she would never go this long without calling to check in with me.

2 hours later and it's dark enough to go out and look for the rest of the body. I spent a while walking around until I caught her scent, it was faint but it was still there so I took off running to find it. I was running for a couple of minutes when another scent distracted me, I couldn't help but to follow the scent it was just so distinct and pure, it was addictive and I haven't even had a full blast of it. When I follow the scent it leads me to two teenage guys (well this is new, I've never been attracted to a guys scent before, I've never actually been this attracted to anyone's scent). I immediately know which one had drawn me here. He looked so dorky and awkward, why did my wolf want this kid, why was his scent so appealing?

I followed him for a while until he ran into the cops, turns out he is the sherif's son. I followed him home I couldn't get enough of his scent, wow I'm a complete stalker. I decided that I should go back to the woods and search for the body instead of staying here. I got back to the woods and heard a loud heartbeat, it was racing I went towards it, it was that guys friend he was bitten by the alpha, I went after the alpha but tripped over my sisters dead body, not the best of nights. I took her body back to my place and buried her under a spiral, kinda a werewolf thing.

Finding my sister and burying her finally got my mind off the boy but I wouldn't recommend it, this is terrible my sister is dead, she is actually dead, I'm never going to get to see her again. This realisation hit me like a brick in the face, now I not only need a distraction from Laura's death but also from the scent of the boy. Which is worse? I think I'll just distract myself with finding the alpha.

The next day I was trying to clean out my house, because you know it was half burnt down, but I caught a scent, an irresistible scent, his scent. Again I couldn't resist it, I had to follow it, then I remember I had an excuse to talk to him, I had his friends inhaler. I followed his scent and heard them talking about the body. Shit! At least I know his name now, Stiles.
All I could say was "This is private property, you need to leave." Fuck! Why can't I be a normal person and talk normally. He looked so attractive standing there with the way the sunlight hit him, "I'm sorry we didn't know, come on Scott let's go." God his voice is perfect, so hot! I threw Scott's inhaler at him. I had to get away I couldn't handle being so close to him, why don't I have any control around him. But as I was walking away and clearing my head I realised something was different then it was the night before. Not with him but with his friend, Scott. His scent was different, not human, he was a wolf a new wolf actually it must have happened last night. As I was walking off I could still here stiles, "dude that was Derek freaking hale!" Good he knows my name too.

This story is gonna be on the same timeline of teen wolf, with the alpha and the kanima and stuff but I'm gonna change how stuff happened a bit
