The lonely peasant lived his days working. He was a typical man yet never fit in. No one knew that he faced demons day in and day out. These demons didnt try and kill him or his family, they only wanted one thing, to torture him. Day after day he had to deal with them, but no matter how hard he tried he only managed to make it to the end of each day. Only by chance, a one in a trillion chance, he met her. The kings daughter, even more beautiful than every flower on earth. But maybe it wasnt just a random meeting, maybe there was something more. The demons the peasant dealed with, he wasnt the only one. Few others he met from other kingdoms faced them too. These demons were invisible to all others, except those who faced them as well. In his kingdom, the peasant was the only one dealing with these demons. That's what he believed till he met her. One night, after a long days work, the peasants friend invited him to the pub. Passing up at first, the peasants friend convinced him to go with him. Upon arriving the two both got pints, but his friend wondered off talking to others, so the peasant sat in the back of the pub alone. Not longer after someone in a cloak walked in and sat next to the peasant. "Hi" the cloaked person said in a soft shy voice. The peasant was stunned, knowing nothing about this person he was drawn to them. "Hello" the peasant said back after a moment still shocked. "Well if you don't mind, since it appears we're both loners, may I sit here?" the cloaked person said. "Oh go right ahead" the peasant replied. There was a silence after, the cloaked person got a pint. After the cloaked person took a drink, the peasant asked "So since we're both alone, would you like to chat?" "I wouldn't mind that" the cloak replied. The rest of the night the two of them made small talk. The peasant knew there was something about the cloaked person he liked, even after talking for a while, it seemed incredibly easy to talk to them. At the end of the night, they both agreed to meet up at the pub again the next day. The only thing the peasant knew about the cloaked person after the conversation was she was a girl, and he liked her.
