- Wait. You dated her? - Thomas asked him. - Man, you should have done something very bad to make her breakup with you!

- Why don't you go to the hell, kid?! - Ethan said.

Oh no! This is getting out of control! I have to do something, unless they'll kick him out of here!

- Hey, what's going on here?! - Dimitri said. - You know the rules: no fighting and mean words! The one who crosses the line will return home right now! And both of you, you should give them the example. Not help everything getting a mess! You're grown up! Act like that!

And everybody went back to work. Thanks God, Dimitri was there in time! This time, Zoey and I stood next to Ethan without saying a word. Geez! He seemed really angry! Ex-boyfriend? What could had happened between them? I was afraid that he might get upset with me if I'd said something...

- Well! - he said suddenly. Gosh, he scared me! - Once that everybody's here, let's open the tents, first.

Oh, great! Now everybody will see how idiot I can be! The last time I went camping with my parents, Danny ended opening my tent because I didn't know how to do it. Fantastic! Zoey was almost finishing!

- Abbs, is there any problem? - Zoey asked me.

- I...I don't know how to do it...!

- Don't worry, I'll help you! - she said, smiling.

- Thanks!

- You don't know how to open a tent?! - Ethan asked. - You came camping and you don't know open it?! Huh! Give it to me!

Huh? He was helping me? And didn't call me names! I'm impressed! Is he upset? Maybe, now, he thinks I'm an idiot... Good job Abigail! I should...huh! Shame on me!!!

- Here. Done. Now try to find some firewood. - Ethan ordered.

Lets go then. I don't wanna argue with him. At least, not now! Before I keep walking, I looked back to him. Fortunately, he didn't see me. He walked in the opposite way, looking up, with the hands in his pockets. But I had to move on, 'cause Zoey put me back to earth.
And we started to catch some firewood. Meanwhile...

- What were you thinking about? - Zoey asked me.

- Me? Nothing. I was just...worried about him. - I told her. - You realised that, this time, he didn't insult me? I was wondering...why? What happened between them?

- I don't know. But, you said that he used to insult you? - Zoey asked. - Why? Is he an idiot? Maybe that's the reason why they broke up.

- Mmm... I don't think so. Then why is he angry? No. Something's missin'...

- I think that you like him! - she concluded. - Girl, you have such a strange taste, you know?

- What? No, I haven't! I'm just worried.

- Then why don't you just ask him? If he really likes you, he'll tell you.

- What?! How do you know he likes me if you've just met him?! - I asked her.

- Come on! You were both blushing! And you've done anything but arguing with him, since we arrived here.

- Huh! Sometimes, I hate you so much...!

- I know. I love you too! - she smiled to me.

Maybe she's right... I guess I have to talk to him and give him my support. After what happened in my room, he has to talk with me. The question is: when? He's working all day and at lunch time, I suppose that he doesn't want to be seen with me... Huh...!
So, once that the firewood was enough, we returned to the tents. We organized everything for lunch time; put the firewood in the centre; and started to eat. Fortunately, we could have lunch with who we wanted, including people from another teams.
Zoey sat down close to Dimitri. That Zoey...always looking for someone to laugh with and have fun! No one better for her than Dimitri! I didn't want to interrupt them, although I saw Ethan eat next to our tents alone.

- Hum... Can I sit here? - I asked him.

- Whatever... - he just muttered.

I started eating my food, but sometimes I used to look at him only to check if he was okay. Oh, crap! I guess he noticed.

- Why are you looking at me?! - I didn't say nothing. - I have eyes, okay? I can see you! Now stop doing that and eat your food.

Oh, forget it! He will never talk with me about a thing like that! I kept eating without saying a word. It got awkward. I have to do something...

- W-what are we going to do today? - I smiled, hoping that he could fake a smile to me.

- Nothing. - he answered. - Today is just to organize everything and get used to the place. Everyone can walk by...until the lagoon. That kind of stuff.

- Oh, it has a lagoon nearby? Can we go there? Pleeaase?

- Calm down, you look like a kid in Toys'R'Us! - I guess he got surprised!

- I'm sorry... It's because I always wanted to travel to a peaceful and beautiful place like this! - I admitted. - Would you mind if I invite my two friends? Zoey and Dimitri?

- Go. But I won't wait for them! - he muttered again.

That's not a surprise for me. I ran to tell them and they came with me. Yes, just the four of us with no one else bothering us. So quiet and peaceful! The only thing I could hear was Dimitri and Zoey talking and laughing and the birds. The small lagoon was surrounded by many sunshines. So beautiful! I got amazed.
Dimitri and Zoey walked around the lagoon while Ethan sat down a bit distant of me. He was looking to the water, thoughtful.

- Hey... Are you okay? What's wrong?

- I'm fine. Nothing's wrong. I'm just... - he paused and looked at me for a few seconds. - It's not of your business. Can you leave me alone for a while, please?

I walked away and leaned against a tree, watching him. Huh...! What a bad day! Everything was a mess! I couldn't do anything that I wanted! But it seems that Zoey and Dimitri are enjoying it. Great for them! I can't believe Ethan put me in a bad mood too! I'm so sick of this!
