"This was it. I was finally set free from this world. Now i can finally be free." -Closes eyes- (Sirens wail in the distance)
((Three years earlier))
I moaned as usual whenever i wake up. I'm starting to get used to seeing these white walls, considering the fact we just moved into this house. My name is Levi Evergreen. I'm 13, basically 14 when 1 week from now in march hits. And finally, i am what most people would consider, goth. I am going to be late for school if i don't get up now. I turn on some Ghost Town music on, and head straight for the restroom.
-Skipping the unimportant details-
I had one of my ideal outfits on -Combat boots, camo green pants, a forest green t-shirt, and a leather jacket- "Mom, I am ready for school." She was waiting for me outside in the car and had the engine already started. As usual, we had a 10-minute drive of silence on my way to school. I waved at my mother as she drove off. Then I turned to be greeted with a punch on the shoulder by my best friend (who is also goth). "Hey Jem, nice outfit." -she was wearing burgundy jeans, combat boots, and a long sleeve black sweater, with her hair parted on the right side of her face. She has brown hair, and hazel eyes by the way- "Thanks" She replied. "Wanna head to the library?" She asked. Hopefully you can understand, but the library is like a second home to both of us. "Where else would we go?" I asked, and she shrugged. And we walked into the library. "Well, at least those brats aren't here, am i right?" she said picking a book from the shelf from the horror section of the library. Just then the one person out of the 300 that i hate walked past the library. "Spoke too son." I said pointing over at the bastard.
To be honest, i don't have a problem with people, unless you hurt me, or my best friend. We continued searching for the perfect book to read, but just then the school bell rung. Luckily, Jem and I have all of our classes together. ((Our first class was history.))
Our teacher (Mr. Bronx) loved picking on my in his class, so i made sure i studied every night. "Mr. Evergreen, name something you know about women." He asked out of the blue. Once again, why me? But its whatever i already knew what to say for the answer. "Back in the day, women didn't have the rights they have today, nor didn't they have the same rights as men, which explains why we have feminism today." I answered perfectly. Someone in the back of the classroom coughed and said "Faggot". The whole class remained quiet and turned around to see who said it. I didn't need to break my neck because i already knew who said it. For the next 45 minutes of class i just drew a picture of Jem and I at the cemetery.
Luckily, Jem wrote notes for me and planned on giving them to me tonight when we Face Time. Finally the bell rung, and as usual, Jem and I were the first 2 students to leave the class room. I'm guessing Jem could to by the pace of me walking that I was upset. :Don't waste your energy being mad, their just idiots who have nothing better to do than be stupid." She said putting her hand on my shoulder. I simply replied as I slammed my locker door "I am not upset, I am simply aggravated, and besides I'm fine." Nothing happened the rest of the day. After school once i arrived home, Jem and I called each other on Face Time.
We then started our homework together. And then the topic arose :Prom. "I honestly don't even think i am going to go. It won't make a difference whether I go or not anyway." I said finding a playlist for us to listen to. Jem shrugged. "Well if you change your mind and decide to go after all, we could be miserable together." Personally, I was more concerned about what i was getting for my birthday. I honestly just wanted $200 to spend at Hot Topic. "Can you guess what i am getting you for your birthday?" She asked seeming to be more focused on her homework. "Um.. Let me guess.. Your taking me shopping?" I guessed perfectly. She is always telling me how she hates how i dress in a military fashion. "Of course! I an taking you shopping at Hot Topic. She said finishing her homework. I had already finished and started reading a book i picked up from the library i was titled - The Shining.
We then moved on to our next topic which was our favorite bands. "I can not decide between evanescence and ghost town, Jem. They both are awesome in my opinion." I said getting ready to play some ghost town. "Well, in my opinion, Black Veil Brides And Kiss are even better than both of those bands combined!" Then we spent hours jumping from various topics until we finally called it a night.
