XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX While Alex and Patrick recover, Luke, Sheila, Alyssa, and Amy find Josh.

Luke got to his feet, and looked for his friends.

"Hello?"

"Yes, I am here suffocating under this pile of rubbish."

Luke spotted a familiar looking white hand sticking out from a pile of boxes.

"Hold on."

Luke rush over to the spot tripping over various objects.

"Here you go." Luke said as he pulled a disheveled Alyssa out of the rubble.

"Thanks."

Luke looked around.

"Amy, Sheila?"

"Present." Said a ruffled Amy on the other side of the room.

"Sheila?"

"Yes."

"Oh, there you are."

Sheila dusted herself off from the corner.

Amy pounced Sheila in a fury.

Sheila could only let out a squeak of terror before Amy was upon her.

Luke turned to Alyssa, "We should be on the same floor as the others."

Luke turned back and said, "Stop fooling around and lets go."

"Fine."

The children made their way through the wreckage to what was left of a door.

"Here we go." said Sheila.

Luke opened the broken door slowly and peeked his head experimentally.

Then, he saw a scared Josh hurtling towards his face.

Luke went out the door and held out both hands to stop Josh.

Josh was to scared and looking over his shoulder to notice the skinny Asian trying to stop him.

"OW!"

Luke's arms served as a unintentional clothesline.

Alyssa gasped as Josh nearly did a back flip, Amy and Sheila just laughed, and Luke stood there eyes closed, arms out not understanding.

Alyssa helped the startled boy up.

"You alright, mate."

Josh just blushed and began to mumble.

"Sorry Buddy." apologized Luke as he dusted off Josh.

Josh was too busying staring at Alyssa to notice.

Luke snapped Josh's jaw close and said, "No time to drool over Alyssa."

Josh recovered and said, "Right. THERE ARE ZOMBIES IN THE HOUSE!!!"

Once they all recovered from Josh's outburst, Amy said, "Yes, we know that."

"Oh, OK"

Sheila looked at the long corridor Josh came through.

"Looks like you brought company."

"Oh, yeah. Why did you think I was running so fast."

A few of shambling corpses ran towards them.

Luke hands Josh a Glock

"Here is a gun. You know how to use it right?"

Josh pointed to the barrel of the gun.

"This is the dangerous end, right?"

Luke pulled back the hammer on Josh's gun.

"Now it is."

The children stepped into the hallway and waited for the zombies.

Luke, Amy, and Shelia knell in the front, while the rest of the children stood behind preparing to shoot over their heads.

They spotted the menacing shadows of the undead coming from the corner of the hallway.

Everyone cocked back their pistols, well, after some help from Alyssa, the blushing Josh finally got his.

When the zombies came around the corner, the children open fire.

Many zombies fell, but more and more started coming.

"Good lord." Luke screamed over the racket.

"WHAT!" screamed Shelia.

"SWORDS!" replied Luke.

Luke kept his katana on his waist, while Amy and Shelia strung around their shoulders.

They drew their katanas.

They had very little experience with the foreign swords, but little knowledge is needed to fence with a zombie.

The hoard of the undead closed in on the tired and scared children.

Luke, Amy, and Shelia tensed.

Amy swung first decapitating one zombie.

Luke did a vertical slice into a zombies head.

They all gritted their teeth and slash randomly into the mass of zombies.

Blood stained the walls.

The children behind the front line tries to get a shot off here and there, but it was mostly ineffective.

Luke, Amy, and Shelia grew tired.

When ever they killed one zombie, two took its place.

They were close to breaking.

"We can't hold." Shelia said.

"I know." replied Amy.

A zombie dodged a sword strike and tackled Luke.

"AH!"

Things started to look grim.

Luke could smell the rancid breath of the vile creature.

He held the zombie by the throat and tried to draw his gun.

The zombie simply weighted to much, and was to strong.

Then, Luke heard gunshots and was covered in a revolting liquid.

He saw the smiling face of Avery.

"Avery?"
