Chapter 1~ Cute Cat Thing

~Your POV~

Ah, the joys of Christmas. The time of year when I get $300 plus whatever I can get my hands on to do with what I please. I walk into the pet store, looking forward to finding the cutest pet I can find. I decide to stay away from dogs, as the noise might annoy the other people in my apartment complex. So, I look through the cat area, where they have pens instead of cages so that you can pet them. I find a strange boy with cat ears and a cat tail. He's wearing a fluffy, green sweater and jeans with socks matching his sweater. I can't see his eye color because he's asleep, but he does have adorable fluffy hair and quite pale skin. Unable to resist his cuteness, I scratch his head slightly. He wakes up and jumps up, hissing. I can now see that he has one green eye band one blues eye. I pull my hand back, not wanting to aggravate the creature. His face goes from upset to concerned and he rubs against my hand, seemingly as an apology.  I scratch his head again, and this time he lets out a purr. So cute! I lift up the child-sized creature and walk to the cash register. "How can I help you, miss?" "I wanted to know how much he was." I I say, scratching his ear to calm him down since he appeared scarred. "He's $250.70." I hand her the money and exit the store, placing the still scarred thing in the passenger seat of my car. "I'll name you Jeremy. Do you like that name, buddy?" He rubs against my hand again. "I'll take that as a yes." I close the door and sit in my own seat, starting the car. Jetemy sits cross-legged as we start going to my apartment.
