Chapter 4: The New Boy

We ran for days on end and we finally stop to rest in an abandoned building. I feel bad for Esmeralda because she is the youngest and most weak. We all get a room close together and pair up in case anything happens. Bryce and I are in one room, while Ethan and Brenda are in one room and Sam and Esmeralda the other. Bryce and myself are the only couple. That night no one is particularly hungry so we sit in the kitchen a while then I tell them to all go to bed that I was going to stay up a little longer. I sit in the living room and i hear something in the kitchen so I get up to scope it out. I am about to go around the corner when I see a strange boy. "Who the hell are you?" I say "ahh" he screams and jumps about a foot in the air "Holy mother of the pure baby Jesus! Who are you!?" He exclaims "My name is Sarah and yourself" I say annoyed "Lucas but you can call me Luke" he says. We sit and talk for a while. He has sandy blonde hair, blue eyes, he is a few inches taller than me at least five, and is built like a male model. In my opinion he is hot like Bryce. His voice is so amazing its like pure honey itself, it draws you into a world of joy, happiness, and feel good foreverness. Turns out he lives here. "Will you join our group?" I ask "What group?" He asks "I have a group with myself, my boyfriend, and four teens we met along the way here." I explain "sure I guess I will" he says. "Okay be here in the morning and I'll introduce you to everyone" I say while getting up and wishing him a good night and leave to my room. On my way out I hear Luke mumble 'to bad she has a boyfriend' and I smile to myself. When i get to the room Bryce is still up looking very worried "Oh, thank God your okay!" He says and I just nod and climb in bed. I feel Bryce's arms wrap around my waist and pull me close to him. I turn to face him and let my hands travel up and down his six pack. "I will always be fine. Oh, and we have a new boy in our group" I say and fall asleep before I can hear what he says.
