Lunch.

Loud, busy.  Like a wave of simultaneous voices hitting me.

I had nobody to sit with, obviously.  It was the first day, of course I didn't have any friends.

So I just sat down in the middle of a table.  There were three other girls around me, but when I looked up, I really only saw one.

Her eyes.  That's what I took notice of first.  Then her earbuds, her binder that displayed stickers of all my favourite bands.  And then her fake smile.  I could tell, because it was the same one that I put on everyday.

My attraction towards her was like trying to get ketchup out of a bottle.  It came out slowly, then all at once.

I don't know why I didn't say hi.  I was so apprehensive, the thought of even looking at her made me feel different.  A good different.

I had to find out her name.

I waited so long, but then I started to ask around.

I described her in detail, from her piercing eyes to her brown hair with blue at the ends.  And finally, someone told me.

Sarah.

Sarah.

Her name bounced back and forth in my brain, echoing.  And it stayed there.

She's like a daisy in a garden of roses.  And I love it.

Hi! Sorry this chapter's so short.  This is basically going to be a story about my life.  Sorry if I don't update that often.  Thanks for reading!
